The next day, I set out for Dotham. Just like my hosts had suggested, I travelled with their friends who were merchants. They were about five men in number. With them were large quantities of goods to be sold once they arrived at Dotham. I cared less to check out the goods they were going to sell at Dotham. All I cared for was the success of my mission and their protection which Celine and her husband had assured me I will get a hundred per cent from them. So far so good! The men were kind to me. There were in their mid-fifties. Their long bears, sometimes, grey were proof that the men were advanced in age and not kids. We stopped many times on our way to Dotham. We had to pass through several towns on our journey. As for how many nights we spent now, they were about five nights. On the sixth night, I was informed that it won't cost us any other day. I was sceptical about that because, that was what I was told on the third night but, we ended up spending extra two nights and still y

"Come on inside?" That was what we heard from Mrs Taylor. "Here may not be such a good place for this discussion."We obeyed her voice and went into the inner room of her store. There, we sat on a sofa big enough to contain the three of us. I sat at the end by the left, whereas Mrs Taylor and Mr Simeon sat at the extreme by the right and the centre, respectively. "You are welcome to my humble abode, I guess you guys need some wine after such a long journey?""How can I say no? Or are you expecting me to reject some wine from you? You know that can never happen, Mr Taylor!" He told her and again, the two of them began laughing as usual.Mrs Taylor stood to her feet and then went to a corner. It was not too bright in there therefore, I couldn't see what she seek to bring out. However, there was a strong indication that he was looking for some wines, given the fact that Mr Simeon already requested some. As expected, she returned with three wine cups and a leather bag of wine as well. A

"Deborah!" Shouted Mrs Taylor. "I'm the one! We have come to seek your sacred knowledge to be able to overcome our problem," Mrs Taylor bowed her head below after explaining herself. For the first time since we stood still, the dark figure started talking. "I know who you are Mrs Taylor but, I don't know why you would bring that lady standing beside you over here." The figure pointed at me as she spoke. Her voice was unforgiven. She sounded mean."She is just a poor girl who seeks your help and your guidance. She is harmless just like me. Please, grant us our request by allowing us to proceed to your Oracle," explained Mrs Taylor."Wait a minute!" Deborah shouted. "She didn't tell you who she was?" The sorcerer was still pointing one of her fingers towards me as she spoke. "She didn't tell you, Mrs Taylor, that she is a Witch?" At once, Mrs Taylor turned to look at me. Perhaps, she was in doubt about what Deborah has said but, can Deborah lie? The look of disbelief on her face as sh

Deborah began speaking with a low voice. It was obvious from the way she was speaking at the moment that something was going on with him. Perhaps, she has some secrets from the distant past to share with me. "Your mother was my very good friend back in those days. She helped me a lot but unfortunately, she was killed by Magaritha. Your mother's sister, Magaritha was selfish. She wanted all for herself and that was why she killed your mother even though she knew that your mother meant well to her," said Deborah."Yes, Lady Gia also told me the same thing. I'm intrigued to know how you learnt all of this!" I replied. She glanced at me in utter surprise as if I had offended her. But, I was sure that I have not said anything bad against him. "It seems to me that you are not listening carefully to all I have been telling you?""Why not, mam! Of course, I'm listening to you carefully, not even a single word escaped from me," I tried to make her understand that I was with her."Back then, y

"Eric and Ammon, that's their names. They saved my life. If not for their speedy intervention, I would have been dead by now. The Revolutionists were able to catch up with me as I ran through the forest of Dengek. I was about to be burned on the stake, just like they had done to my other Witch-sisters. There was no hope for I thought that was the end of the journey but then, the Lycans showed up, about three of them!" I told Lady Gia."About three of them?" She asked as if she was expecting me to clarify. She was dead and therefore, a ghost. I wouldn't be surprised if she was able to know some of the things which had happened while she was gone."Yes, mother!" I maintained. "There were three of them but, one sold out. We thought he was with us in our quest but then, it turned out that he was a betrayer. The Alpha among the three wolves had begged to break the curse which was placed on her by Magaritha. Initially, I was mistreated by them. However, each passing day brings with it some
