Semua Bab MATES: REMNANTS OF A BETRAYED BOND : Bab 111 - Bab 120

-RAINA'S POV- Why is it so easy for miscommunications to occur in relationships? A misunderstanding fluctuated between us. It was one that I wanted to instantly obliterate. I held my breath anticipating what kind of venom Valen was about to spit at me. “That doll was on your dresser when I got here. It caught my attention because of the tag that said Valen Jr. I was curious about it and took it up to examine it. But now I'm confused because it seemed that you were putting the blame on me for something that I know nothing about,” he explained, his lecherous eyes flicked on my lips. “Why would you think that I'd tease you with a doll when I'd rather do that with my kisses?” “Anytime, baby.” Hera cooed in my head, swooning. My cheeks heated up at the sappy scenario he painted. I shrugged and just said, “Because I don't own a doll.” I never did. “So how could one be in my room?” “But it was here,” Valen insisted, staring dead at my eyes. “Swear to me that you are not lying.” I grab

-RAINA'S POV- Wicked is the curse of my reality that propelled me like an avalanche with eyes pressed open. Gravity pulled me down. Hurtling through endless blobs of peach-colored clouds. The finale was obscured and where this leads, I was not sure. Like a shot-down aircraft, I rapidly descended. My chest tightened, constricting the air that I struggled to inhale into my lungs. Falling without a parachute. No safety net below. No bungee cords attached to my waist. No skydiving trainer latching me to him like a baby kangaroo. Falling into a bloodthirsty abyss or maybe not. More miles of white clouds to go. I screamed so much that my throat became scratchy, hoarse, and dry. Yet, I could not control my mouth's shrieks or outcries. Not when hollow dread was gnawing inside of me from the worst roller-coaster ride of my life. Where was Valen? Where am I? Who is doing this? My brain struggled to understand what was going on. My heartbeat frantically hammered in my chest. Suddenly t

-RAINA’S POV- Hearing Valen's voice, I wrenched my gaze away from his obscured nether region. I had completely forgotten where we were. “Is this your so-called date?” I wondered, dragging my eyes up the length of his body. “I think you are trying to seduce me.” A masculine satisfaction flickered in his emeralds, and he drew closer until a wafer-thin sliver of stream and water separated our bodies. “I’m always trying to seduce you.” My chest fluttered and my cheeks started to flush. A helpless giggle left me and lust for him formed in my belly. It was overwhelmingly terrifying how much I loved him. By the time I left here, I was sure to have a love hangover. For a fleeting moment, I felt his hardness brush the natural swell of my lower belly beneath the water. My thighs impulsively clenched together. I stared back into his regal features, his jet black hair flowing inches past his broad shoulders that were getting wavier from the vapors of the spring. “I’m desperately, insanely at

-VALEN’S POV- A sweet satisfaction wrapped around my heart when I saw her. “I’ve been waiting for you.” Raina cooed, patting a spot beside her. A sundry of my emotions fluttered wildly like flags in the wind. I smoothed over my hair and released a long sigh of relief. I wanted to laugh, cry, hug, and spank her all at the same time. She was in one of the chambers of the cave that was open at the top with a breathtaking view of the sky and honing the natural light. In disbelief, I paused to take in my mate’s exquisite, naked form. Sitting sideways with her legs crossed under to perfectly emphasize her sexy thighs, curtains of her burgundy hair fell over her shoulders to cover her luscious round peaks. I trailed my gaze over her curvy hips and small waist. The exotic sight of her vanquished all worries. I was one lucky bastard. She sat in the middle of a soft, colossal, gray sheepskin rug on the ground. She hunched over a silver platter of fruits, helping herself. How odd. Where d

-VALEN’S POV- Raina’s state was heightened and primitive. Smug and feral, my mate knew what she desired, and she was hellbent on taking it. Her growl and posture were everything but subservient. Her eyes still glowed with a randy fuchsia. Despite my rising rut, she was fragile and precious. I had to keep grounded in reality to play it safe. Taking control of the situation, I elevated myself to sit upright. However, that was no good for her. With a haughty lift of her chin, Raina pushed at my chest with a finger. “Down, boy.” She giggled, tapping her upper lip with her tongue, and waggled her brows at me. “So naughty,” I muttered. It was not a complaint. I reclined on the gray sheepskin rug. My body was so obedient to her commands. It's my wolf’s doing. At the same time, my Bluebella’s head rapidly dipped to kiss the tip of my dick. A rush of excitement engulfed me as I felt her hot breath on it. I tried controlling myself. I retracted my fangs and claws. My heart was beating
