Raina’s state was heightened and primitive.

Smug and feral, my mate knew what she desired, and she was hellbent on taking it. Her growl and posture were everything but subservient. Her eyes still glowed with a randy fuchsia.

Despite my rising rut, she was fragile and precious. I had to keep grounded in reality to play it safe.
