《Beyond My Mate's Betrayal 》全部章節：第 51 章 - 第 60 章

Scarlett's Pov His already tensed muscles tightened even more. I knew that he was trying not to pounce on me like an animal but it was fun to tease him like that. "Do you know that it's dangerous to play with fire, mate?" he growled. There was something hot in the way he spoke. I felt my panties soaking when I rubbed my thighs together. My mouth watered and all I wanted was to taste him. "I like it hot, mate," I whispered and proceeded to put my forefinger into my mouth and slowly remove it while making sure that he was watching each of my movements. Pouting my lips a little, I ran my hands down my body, brushing them over my bare breasts. I loved the way he twitched. It was almost like he was struggling to behave, but was desperately losing control of his desires. I pinched my nipples, just to tease him. "Do you want them, honey? I bet they taste good," I whispered, deliberately giving my full breasts a little shake to lure him in. It worked!"Fuck!" He hissed and lunged at me

Michael's pov "Yeah. You better prepare for war. Scarlett is hell bent on avenging her parents' death. She kind of blames it on you." "You're lying," I hissed. "Why would I lie to you? Besides, you have already paid me for this, so I believe that you have earned the truth. Now choosing to believe it or not is going to be your choice. I don't care. I have got what I want," her response was firm. "Oh, and by the way, I managed to click a picture of the soldiers gathering at the packhouse. I don't know what war preparation looks like if this isn't it." "Send it," I demanded. The call ended and within minutes, I received a photo message from her. It was a picture of the warrior's quarters. So agent 2 was more than just any omega. She had access to the warrior's quarters. I guess she wasn't a waste of money after all. The soldiers appeared to be in a rush. A door was opened from which they were taking various kinds of weapons. Their countenances displayed unwavering determinat

Gavin's pov I was determined to end his pathetic life. I was almost successful when hell broke loose. I was sure that the warriors would do their best to suppress the enemies. I didn't doubt my mate's abilities to protect herself, yet, my heart's desire was to protect her myself. She was my mate, after all. However, looking for her was impossible with Michael following me like a maniac. Heck, I also wanted to end this once and for all so I fought with all my might. Soldiers from both packs rushed to assist us. The challenge was ruined and had turned into a full blown war. I realised that Michael had his claws elongated when he attempted to slash them through my torso. Thankfully, Akela was able to assist me in dodging that blow just in time. I also extended my claws and channelled Akela's strength. Soon enough, we were both doused in our blood. Our power to heal instantly was a massive advantage to us. Healing the minor injuries wasn't a problem. Besides, I wasn't going to give u

Gavin's pov "Of course, I will help! Fabian will lead a squadron of combatants from Garnet Cave. They will arrive at your pack by sunset. I'll give you my word.""Thank you, Alpha. I will forever be grateful for your assistance," I replied on the phone."Michael has gone too far. Kidnapping her means war, Gavin. She is beloved by all of us. I can't believe that he is my son's close friend," he sighed. "Maybe you should talk to him about it. Scarlett told you, remember?" I suggested. "Yeah, she did. I will talk to him. Michael isn't the kind of person I want him to hang out with. I plan to send my son as the commander of the squadron from my pack because, after this, he will be officiated as the new alpha of Garnet Cave." "I'm sure he'll do great. Now please excuse me. I need to check on the preparations for war," I said. "Of course, alpha Gavin. I'm off to dispatch the reinforcement from Garnet Cave." A smile curled on my lips as I ended the call. Garnet Cave was the last pack I

Scarlett's pov Fabian seemed to try and avoid the crowd as we rushed towards the staircase. He sniffed the air as he led me down the deserted passageway. I also sniffed the air, hoping to catch a whiff of any familiar scents. As we sprinted down the stairs, I caught a whiff of his aura. A smile instantly curled on my lips. I knew it. He was around. My heart yearned to search for my mate, but Fabian kept leading me away from him. Besides, I didn't want to let Michael escape. I wanted to finish this once and for all. If he ever got the chance to flee, I was sure that we would have to deal with him again. And I was done with him. I wanted nothing more than to end this for good. "Where are we going?" I asked Fabian, who appeared to be sprinting for his life. "The woods," he mumbled as we reached the ground floor. I sucked in a breath. The entire place was chaotic. Some Sapphire Mooners were battling a losing war against the wolves who had invaded their territory. Among them were we
