Audrey POVAs Terry reads the new letter my heart beats faster but then he says something I wasn’t expecting- Mark has a dark past? Wait, what? He hands me the papers and I look through them. Did he silence these women? I mean, he can be a little possessive, but I don’t think he would do the things that are written on these pieces of paper.My face twists in confusion and I reach for my phone, dialing Mark’s number. I look at Terry and Daniel and they look at me, “Audrey…” Daniel begins but Mark answers the phone, “Hey baby.”“Hey,” I begin but I start to falter. How does one even bring this up? “Are you still picking me up? We need to talk.” Daniel stares at me and shakes his head and I put my hand up.“Oh, is everything okay? Terry POVDaniel watches as I secure one of the cameras and he sighs, “Do you think he’ll tell her the truth?” he asks, worried. I shake my head, moving the camera to the proper position, “I doubt it.” Daniel nods, leaning against the wall, “But we gave her proof.“ I step down the ladder and look at my work. The camera is almost invisible and it’s perfect.“Daniel, Mark is not stupid. He will have a plan. Terry POVI am having the best dream. Audrey and I are on a picnic in the park. She giggles as she caresses my face and I squeeze her hand lovingly. I look into her deep blue eyes and reach in to kiss her when I feel like I am being suffocated. I groan as something sits on me and then I hear a gasp and then a scream.I quickly uncover my face and look at Audrey’s tear-streamed face. Oh, my god. Terry POVI thank Mr. Ollie as I leave his classroom with a stack of papers to grade. Not only am I taking courses at two different colleges, but I am a student aide, “I expect those graded by Wednesday.” He tells me. I nod and place them into a folder.“No, problem, sir,” But it is. With following Audrey and watching her as much as I can, I have fallen a little behind in my studies. Mr. Ollie smiles, “You are my best student, Terry. Just keep up the good work. Terry POV I hang on to Audrey’s every word as she tells me her life story. The tragic car accident that made her an orphan and what happened after.
