21. Mine, My Alpha

Raven’s POV “Alpha Ryder,” I smile when the door opens and Ryder enters with Embry behind him. “Alpha Raven, congratulations on the twins,” Ryder chuckles deeply, when Liliana tackles him in a hug, squishing Aiden between them. “Mine, my Alpha,” Liliana whimpers into his chest holding him close as Aiden snuggled comfortably between them. “Dada, Dada,” Aiden giggles, looking up at Ryder then nuzzles into his chest with Liliana. “My Luna and my boy,” Ryder whispers against her hair, then kisses her and Aiden relieved to have them in his arms. “Thank you, you kept our people safe from invaders; congratulations on your new position.” I bow my head out of respect, glad that I was able to focus on giving birth to my son and daughter with my mates by my side. “Of course, you’re my sister and I will always keep you and our people safe, besides you needed Osric and Embry here with you. New Moon wishes to have an alliance with Wolf Creek making us sister packs working together to bring th

22. Come Down

“Do you feel up to a shower?” Embry questions, rubbing my back as I lay on my side, holding Roan and Gunnar against my chest.“I think so, can you hold them outside the shower? I don’t know if I can do it without seeing them,” I admit, looking back at Osric who nods his head clearly feeling my anxiety through the bond.“Calm down Bunny it’s ok, I understand you’re protective of our pups and don’t want them leaving your sight… soon the den will be finished and you’ll feel more secure,” Osric softly speaks, kissing my forehead taking a deep breath making me do the same, slowly calming me.“I love you my Beast,” I breath out, pressing my lips to Osric’s then turn to Embry.“And I love you my Knight,” I whisper, kissing Embry, glad to have my mates holding me with our twins in my arms.“I love you too Mo Ròs Dubh,” Embry softly speaks, kissing me back as he sucks my bottom lip gently making me smile at his playfulness.“And I love you both,” Osric replies, applying a soft kiss to my templ

23. Beta of Wolf Creek

“How is she?” I hear Eya’s voice in the room, feeling Osric’s warm body under me with Gunnar still in my arms.“Resting well, the twins are so perfect,” Osric answers proudly, with a gentle rumble in his chest.I smile at the soft feeling of Embry’s hand absentmindedly drawing on the small of my back with his fingertips.“She is beautiful Da and I can’t believe how much he looks like her. How are you two doing, I know you’re afraid for Raven?” Eya questions her father, making me leave my eyes closed, wanting to listen in, as I can hear Roan coo in Embry’s arms.“She reminds me of you when you were just a pup. I’m just afraid of Raven pushing the Elders to fast, Orin is still a threat… I know it can’t be easy not having her mother,” Osric admits sadly, rubbing my shoulder, breathing in my scent.“Don’t underestimate your mate, my new mother is stronger than you, ask Nana. She probably misses having her mother, but you need to remember what her mother did, and was going to do. Raven mig

24. Departure

“I’m glad you were awake, especially Roan and Gunnar. I was hoping to see you before we left,” Liliana smiles brightly as she meets me at the stairs. Enveloping Roan and I in a huge hug, as Embry comes up behind us cradling Gunnar. “I would kill Osric and Embry if they let me sleep through you leaving. Roan and Gunnar are more than I could have ever dreamed of; I can’t believe her hair, it’s identical to Embry and her eyes are Osric’s. I can’t believe how blue Gunnar’s eyes are with his black hair,” I stare down at my children, taking in their beautiful features wondering what they will be like. “I would too, I love you, Raven. Roan and Gunnar are absolutely perfect and beautiful, I couldn’t be happier for you,” Liliana takes Roan from my arms gently, then Gunnar from Embry making me cringe slightly, I mentally remind myself that she is my twin and they are safe. “I love you too Lily, I’m going to miss you especially with Roan and Gunnar. I’ll make sure to send you pictures and visi

25. Shadow Peak

Liliana’s POV “Nervous?” Thane questions, looking into the review mirror at Ryder whose knee is bouncing anxiously. “A little, I just killed their Alpha,” Ryder admits, looking down at my had slipping into his. I lace my fingers with his, loving the feeling of the sparks his large calloused hands leave on my skin. I kiss the back of his hand, doing my best to calm him knowing this is a big deal. Not only are we becoming Alpha and Luna of our own pack, but Ryder is also a hybrid, and now the first Alpha hybrid that we know of. “Relax son, you will help this pack and bring it out of the dark ages. Alpha Lucas was never a good Alpha, he abused the hell out of most of his pack members. Shadow Peak is one of the few packs to still have Omegas who are treated as slaves,” Nikki explains from the passenger seat, he glances back at us then at Aiden who is resting his head against the side of his car seat. “That will end today, and it’s New Moon. Thane, I hope you’re up for some work,” Ryd

26. New Moon

“This pack will no longer be Shadow Peak; we will not follow the same rules and traditions enforced by Lucas. There will no longer be a strong social divide among those you call Omegas and the rest of us. I am Alpha Ryder this is my Luna Liliana, and this is New Moon.”“We will no longer have Omegas; it is no longer a rank or position in our pack. We will not treat our pack members, our family, as slaves. No one here is beneath another. Starting today all pack members are equal even if you’re the rank of Delta, Gamma, or Beta, you will respect all pack members and treat them as equals,” Ryder announces, grabbing my had and pulling me to his side. Our family form a barrier between us and the pack.“You killed our Alpha and you think you can come here and change our way of life?!” The tall man from before roars, walking closer when Thane steps in his path.“Beta Thane let him pass,” Ryder instructs, moving towards the stairs he glances back to make sure I am guarded, not letting this ma

27. Grand Accommodations

“We will have to bring our own warm touch to the house, we can correct the excessive spending and put the money where it is needed to help the pack,” I reassure. Rubbing my hands across Ryders shoulders and hugging him from behind to help relax him. I know how much he wants to change things for the pack and our people.“If this is the type of home you want then don’t change it, I want you to have everything you could ever want or need. I just want to make sure the pack has what they need, before spoiling ourselves,” Ryder looks over at me as I stand on my tip toes to rest my chin on his shoulder.“I don’t need nor want all of this fancy stuff. Honestly, it’s a bit much for me. I like rustic with a touch of luxury, like something between this and Wolf Creek,” I admit, looking around liking most of the décor and furniture, but it’s too much. I don’t want to live in a museum where we can’t touch anything.“Well like you said, we’ll get this place to our liking, and hopefully quickly, bec

28. New Pack

“How are you and our pup feeling?” Ryder questions, sitting and rubbing Aiden’s back as he feeds.“Good, just tired from the drive. I’m going to nurse him once he’s finished drinking blood, then put him to bed. I’ll have Valery stay inside with him and go help where I can to get people set up,” I answer, sitting on the very soft bed and pull myself into the pillows against the headboard.“Please be careful, we’re changing a lot at once, and some of these people are not happy to be losing their free labor,” Ryder insists, looking down at Aiden when he pulls away.“Was that good?” Ryder chuckles, wiping Aiden’s little bloody lips clean when he smiles.“He does love feeding on his Daddy. I will be careful I promise, I plan to have Kitty stay by my side so she can introduce me to the people who need the most help, and so I can learn who the most influential people on both sides are,” I explain, reaching out for Aiden knowing he will start fussing for milk.“Having Kitty with you works for

29. Hybrid Alpha

“Nikki and Seb are going to go through Lucas’ old books with me so we can find out how the pack stands financially, and start to fix things. Will you be ok with Kitty and Johanna?” Ryder asks me, after talking for about an hour with Johanna and the other women around the fire.“Yeah, I’ll be perfectly fine here, everyone is very friendly so far and I know you need to take care of things,” I nod my head and look up at my gorgeous mate, adoring this strong responsible side of him.I can’t be prouder of Ryder. He’s become quite the Alpha, and he’s doing it with more pressure being a hybrid since all eyes are on him.“I love you, if you need me let me know. I’ll check on Aiden and make sure he’s still sleeping,” Ryder pulls my chin up then presses his lips to mine making me giggle, knowing we have an audience.“I love you too, I’ll make sure to link you if I need anything. And thank you, I was going to go check on him soon if you didn’t,” I reply.Reaching up I place my hand on the side of

30. Getting Ready

“It’s starting to look like a proper pack out there,” I can’t hide my smile when I hear Raven’s voice from behind me. “Raven,” I gasp, turning to see her standing in the doorway of my room with Roan in her arms. “Lily, you look so beautiful,” Raven smiles, despite looking exhausted and run down from what I would guess is a lack of sleep. I blush standing in front of her, wearing a lavender white ombre A-line floor length gown with a large slit up to my thigh on one side. The gown flows and looks like something you would see in a fairy tale as it has light blue crystals that match my eyes trailing up the slit to my waist following the ombre. “I’m so glad you’re here, you look good other than being tired,” I hug my twin, ecstatic she’s here for my Luna and Ryder’s Alpha ceremony. “Who knew being a mother to twins would be so exhausting, they constantly need to eat. Of course I’m here, I wouldn’t miss this for anything,” Raven holds onto me with Roan between us. “I’ve missed you so
