Lahat ng Kabanata ng SOLD TO THE CRUEL ALPHA : Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Joanna's POV;Morning soon came. It was only when I stepped out of my room did I realize how large and luxurious this house was. I was woken up by a lady whom I made out to be a maid. She assisted me in doing menial jobs in my room and also picking out my clothes for my big introduction to the pack members. As I walked behind Micah, I felt my heart pound furiously in my chest. I was a nervous wreck as I tried to control myself. Earlier this morning, when I was woken up, I noticed a large gap of difference between yesterday's bump in my stomach and this morning's. I put the blame on the delicious foods I ravaged like a ravenous wolf. Well, who could blame me? It had been so long since I got to eat a good meal."Did you have a good sleep last night?" Micah suddenly asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. I didn't know his intention but he had also done nothing wrong not to get an answer from me. It'd be very rude of me to not answer him."Yes I did. Thank you for your hospitality and

Melissa's words hit a nerve in Joanna's body. Her anger was starting to brew. Before Alasdair could butt in, Joanna spoke up."Why don't you say that to my face?" She asked, her voice laced with venom as she glared at the lady clad in a red gown. As they stood opposite each other, one could see the huge difference between them both. It appeared that Melissa was an inch taller than Joanna, and slightly bigger than her, making her have more advantage of the situation since she only smugly looked down at Joanna. "What? I was only stating the truth. Moreover, who knows what will happen if your baby ends up getting killed in a battle or something. Who would pay the consequence? Tsk! I doubt there'd be any since you don't even know whom the father of your child is. In other words, your child is technically a bastard," Melissa added smugly, enjoying the light giggles and snickering from her friends nearby.Joanna's eyes had already turned red due to anger. Her fists were tightly balled an

"Today, I'll be teaching you defense moves," Alasdair's voice rang out in the forest, slightly far away from the pack. Joanna had been informed to prepare for training to win the battle challenge she had accepted. She was at a disadvantage because she wouldn't be able to change into her wolf form due to being heavily pregnant. This was a great advantage Melissa had over her. Currently, Micah and Alasdair were trying their possible best to explain the details of defense methods to Joanna who looked like she'd fall asleep anytime soon. The pregnant lady was currently leaning on the trunk of a tree, looking as if her soul had left her body. "That's it! I can't take it anymore! What have you only done? Why are you tired? You were only asked to defend and not to attack but you're here looking like you had just fought a battle," Micah hissed in anger while Joanna batted her lashes at him , giving him a small smile."Well...I guess you've done alot," Micah succumbed in a daze, attracted

For the past two days since the unprecedented appearance of the wolves, Joanna had watched listlessly as Alasdair had tried to figure out whom they were. The poor Alpha thought the wolves had reminded Anna of what she had passed through which led to her shivering. If only he knew they were the exact group of people that brought fear to her.She was currently lounging on the sofa in the living room, listlessly Crunching on some fries with her body leaning on Micah. This was how close the both of them had gotten for the past two days since the attack. "Are you okay?" He asked, rubbing her hair gently and Joanna snuggled into his embrace, enjoying his touch on her hair. No one had ever touched her hair like he did. They all called her a freak all because of her hair and if someone had told her that there'd be a day when a man whom she has only known for no less than a week would touch her hair like it was the prettiest thing he had ever touched,Joanna would have denied it. She was thank

It was finally the D-Day. The sun was unusually bright today and Joanna was currently snoring away on her bed even as the sun peeked. She was oblivious to the continuous knocks on her door as she smiled happily even in her sleep."Jo-an-na!" Micah's hysteric yell did nothing to alleviate the sleeping beauty's sleep. Instead, she changed position, curling herself on the bed and hugging the blanket tightly to her body. "Oh my goodness!" Micah gasped in exasperation and tiredness as he watched Joanna sleep. "Haha, is she really sleeping at this time when everyone is on edge, worried for her?" Mark chuckled, tilting his head to the side and staring at Joanna with amusement in his eyes. "This isn't funny! She hasn't even showered yet!" He grumbled, immediately walking towards Joanna.Without caring, he harshly pulled the blanket off her body, hoping that would wake her but surprisingly, Joanna blindly searched for her pillow and hugged it go herself as she continued to snore away.
