Heartache

Joanna's POV;

Morning soon came. It was only when I stepped out of my room did I realize how large and luxurious this house was. I was woken up by a lady whom I made out to be a maid. She assisted me in doing menial jobs in my room and also picking out my clothes for my big introduction to the pack members.

As I walked behind Micah, I felt my heart pound furiously in my chest. I was a nervous wreck as I tried to control myself.

Earlier this morning, when I was woken up, I noticed a large gap of difference between yesterday's bump in my stomach and this morning's.

I put the blame on the delicious foods I ravaged like a ravenous wolf. Well, who could blame me? It had been so long since I got to eat a good meal.
