We rode for the rest of the day, and I lived in my little world with the book as my universe. I let myself get lost in its pages, going from one thing to another and then back. There were just so many interesting things to learn about hell, the past and how things came to be the way they were now, I was completely captivated and didn't even realise time was going. I remember my maids coming back and serving me lunch, and then leaving again.
