Christian. After checking up on Kevin to see that everything was okay with him, I decided to come check on my father as well. He was still in the same position as to when I lastly left the hospital. The oxygen tube was till connected to him. He laid on his bed unmoving, like a dead body, like someone who had no hope of ever waking up. I spend some time with him, not being able to tell him anything , tell him the things that were happening around me, the constant traumas I have been facing, since his accident.I couldn't even discuss that with him, because he was not listening. Even if he was listening, he couldn't even respond to me. Standing up from where I was sitting, I straighten the black suit on my body , I lean over and place a soft kissed on his forehead."Everything would be okay, father." I whispered. Just as I was about to leave the room , Dr. Mark, came in, with a nurse behind him."I see that you are about leaving?" He gave me a cheerful look as he walk

Christian's"I have told her to leave, but she is insisting on seeing you. I don’t know what to tell her anymore. Perhaps, you should go and see her." Ophelia entered the living room, with a bored expression on face.I was eating when I heard a knock at the gate and I asked her to go check on it, only for her to come and tell me that it was my mother, which I had asked her to go and tell her to leave. My hand clenched around the spoon in my hand. I had told that woman never to come bothering us again but she was still on it and very adamant." Just let it go. I am going to deal with her myself." I just had a lot of people to deal with this time around. First, I had to deal with that crazy secretary of mine. I don't even know where she is now, Lucy and right now my mother is standing at the gate insisting on coming into my house, to come and see me for reasons I have no idea about. Why is she so interested to see us, after she had left a long time ago?" OK, I will just go

Christian. A week later."Good morning, father. Do you need anything else before I go to work?"I came down the stairs already dressed in my work suit, with my bags in my hands. My father was sitting at the dining table, having the breakfast Ophelia had made for him."No, son. I'm grateful for life. There is nothing else I will want."He shrugged and took a piece of fries into his mouth. However, there was something odd about his mood that I couldn't figure out.Was something disturbing him?Well, unless I asked.I checked the wrist watch on my hand. There was still some time for me to spare. "Is everything okay with you father?"I pulled a chair from the table and sat opposite him.He placed his spoon on the table, wrapped his fingers under his chin and looked at me.He looked at me for a while and didn't say anything, which made me arched a brow at him."Father!"He is not going to look at me like that."You should go to work. We will talk when you come back."I didn't insist o

Christian. I stood up, the fourth time, from where I was seated, almost throwing my phone against my office door in range as I called Lucy for over the fifth time, but she was not picking up, not like it was ringing. It kept going to voicemail. What could be going on?Why isn't she picking up? Why is the number going to voicemail?Did she block me, black listed me or something? If that's the case, why would she do that?Perhaps of what I did. At least; she should pick up and hear me speak and not completely ignore me.Deciding to let the issue hang on for a moment, I slid my phone into the pockets of my pants and made my way out of the office. I came back home around 7 PM and I haven't checked up on Kevin to see how he was doing. Walking up to his room, I knocked on his door, but no one responded. Knocking the second time with no response, I decided to push the door open. I looked at the room in confusion. It was empty with Kevin nowhere to be seen.Where could he have gone

Lucy:You see, that boy has really been a pain in my ass; since the day I sent you to his office, so that we could make a negotiation with him but rather he took the whole thing into his own hands and try to ruin my life. He literally has no idea about how much I had lost, with him taking my light every now and then." He had this serious expression on his face when he was telling me all that.I wonder where all this was going to. Still, I sat there quietly waiting for him to finish his explanation and tell me where all this was going to. I wasn’t getting any of this at all." I have lost quite a lot and I think it is time for him to face the consequences as well. You know who is going to do that for me?? Who is going to make that happen for me?" He looked at me with this cocky look on his face, like he wanted me to know the answer of the question he was asking me, but I was just as dumb as him." I don’t know, Sir." I told him, seeming uninterested in whatever thing that
