I was in a foul mood and it was Jason’s fault. A bright ray of early morning sunshine filters through the window blinds and lands right on my face.Slowly, I start to wake up. I blink my eyes in confusion and feel the bed, only to realize that the sheets are scattered and the bed is soaked through with my sweat. "Not again." Jason's housekeeping crew and private chef arrived within minutes of each other. Jason's POVI drove Davina back home. On getting there, she got out of the car without saying a word to me.I got out the packages from the car and headed inside where I met Gerard."Welcome, Mr. Sinclair." I drove away from the house even though every inch of me wanted to go back and find a way to comfort Davina and make things right.I was very successful, rich and famous, yet, as of this evening, I felt like I was nothing more than a bully.I drove back to the penthouse and I poured myself a glass of vodka and I sat at the balcony, looking over the city. It struck me how ironic that I had a lot of friends but I am perpetually alone.I downed the glass of vodka and poured another. It was going to be a long night.*****
