His Hunt for Redemption のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 11 - チャプター 20

BRYNN Hanging out with Jackson was exactly what I needed to take my mind off the shitshow that was my life at the moment. He was hilarious, genuine, and a great person to be around. We chatted about anything and everything. Conversation flowed effortlessly with him just like it always had in school. I knew that he appreciated the fact that I treated him just like I would anyone else. It did not matter that he was our Beta. I respected his leadership within our pack, but I respected him first and foremost as a person. Each time that I went to pay for the things I got, he beat me to it. I almost lost my shit on him because I always struggled with others spending money on me. He called it a belated birthday gift each time. He was actually fun to shop with. He had a decent eye for what looked good together. It was insisted that the clothes needed to showcase the strength found in my obvious muscles. Many she-wolves trained in sports bras and shorts or leggings. That was a little out of

THEO Nerves had filled my body as I took my spot in front of my pack. I knew this was the right thing to do, but that did not mean it was easy. Raw honesty was what I delivered. My eyes had found Brynn’s the moment I entered the dining room. It was painful looking at her because my body, heart, and soul yearned for her, but I did not deserve her. I would never be worthy of a woman as incredible as her, but that would not stop me from doing what I could to earn her forgiveness. I ignored the whispers and words because I deserved the hostility. Jackson had warned me, and he was right. Speaking of Jackson … he was there with her, talking with her, and spending time with her. Hell, he even let her father drive his car while he rode with her. There was a green monster of jealousy, but I had to remind myself that I had no right to be jealous because I was stupid and gave it up. I was thankful that she had people with her today because if she felt half as bad as I did then she definitely

THEO I had the most intense dream about Brynn and I last night. It gave me hope that we could heal from what I did and still be together. It was just a dream, but it felt incredibly real. My eyes zeroed in on her once I hit the training grounds. She was talking to my father who looked amused by whatever they were discussing. She was wearing a sports bra and shorts which was what many she-wolves trained in. Nudity was not a big deal for shifters. Extra clothing could be a hinderance while fighting. I had never seen Brynn dressed like that, but I sure as fuck hoped she continued. Her long legs, plump ass, and full chest were enhanced by the muscles I saw in her legs, legs, and defined abs. It showed that she was not a weakling. ‘I don’t like how everyone’s eye-fucking her,’ Zen huffed. ‘Neither do I, but if we have any hope of redemption with her then we have to encourage her to be herself. She was born to be a Luna which means she has an Alpha-like personality.’ I reminded him, and

BRYNN The cells were part of a separate building behind the packhouse. I had never been there, so I was curious to see what it was like. It was a large stone building with security cameras facing every direction. There was a keypad near the door, but Theo stopped in front of the camera. A buzzing sound rang out, and the door opened. ‘Security here is very tight for a reason. You either have to be let in by the guard or enter the code to get in. Said code changes on a weekly basis. We’ve never had any security breaches but want to make sure that remains a reality,’ he explained. ‘That’s a brilliant deterrent. Are you alerted if an incorrect code is entered?’ He flashed me a smirk and nodded. I was glad that we were able to be civil towards one another. We were practically strangers, but it seemed that we got along well. Taking the rejection out of it entirely, I could see how we definitely could have been friends. Perhaps we could in the future. ‘Zen is very funny. He’s not a chee

THEO I had no idea what was going on when Brynn woke me up, saying that she was at my door. I was not prepared for the sight of her standing in front of me in a dress that did little to hide her perfect figure. However, what stopped me from fully appreciating the goddess that stood in front of me was that she looked so rattled that I knew something serious had happened. My heart broke for her as she explained to me what had happened to her mother. It was no wonder that she had nightmares. It also angered me that she spent seven years believing that there was something more going on, but nobody believed her. I could not even begin to imagine what that did to her. She had to face it all alone. Then she moved on to explain about what had happened tonight that rattled her so much. I would be honest that I was a little skeptical about the necklace until she went on to prove how it worked. There was no more skepticism found inside of me at all. To know that Veronica’s betrayal went even
