21: We Do
Jarren  After she shut the door, I got up and got dressed quickly. I was sitting down, putting on my shoes, when the door opened. Carla stuck her head in with her eyes closed.“Are you all dressed?”We laughed. “Yeah, Carla. We’re dressed,” Carson informed her.“Good,” she stated, opening her eyes. “Now, it’s time for the pictures, and then we’ll be ready to get this show on the road.”           We followed her out of the room and to where the photographer was taking pictures. Once he arranged us. He snapped multiple pictures. I wanted to strangle him at one point because he was a little too touchy-feely. That wasn’t what bothered me, though I could have done without him touching me. It was the fact that he was wasting time and the wedding was due to start in about five minutes. Carla finally came and rescued us, sendin

22: Speeches
Jillie The reception hall was stunning. I hadn’t expected it to turn out this good, but of course, with Aunt Carla on the job, I should have known. It seemed that most people had found their seats while others were talking. Jarren and I spoke to a few people as we walked to the bridal party table.“What took you two so long?” Kaileeh asked, wagging her eyebrows as I sat down beside her.“Not what you think. He can’t do it that fast,” I stated, and Xander fell into laughter.           After realizing what I’d said and calculating the number of vampires, werewolves, or other supernatural beings with super hearing, I put my hand over my face and let out a groan. I’d have to filter my mouth more. Jarren pulled my hand from my face and kissed it.“Don’t worry about it.”“Easy for you to say. You didn’t say it.”

23: Wedding Dances
Jillie “Alright, now let’s hear from the groom.” Aunt Carla stated.           Jarren got up and made his way to the stage.“Wow. After all those speeches, I don’t think I can compete,” Jarren stated once on stage with the microphone. “I have been in love with this young woman since I was fourteen. And today, I stand up here as the happiest man in the world because she’s mine.           I’ve thought of this moment since the first time my heart skipped a beat while looking at her. Since the first time, I realized I couldn’t sleep if I hadn’t heard her voice that day. Believe me when I say it freaked me out because you don’t know what’s going on at that age.           I know now. It took me a second to realize that I loved her. A minute to work up the nerve to

24: Second Wedding
Jillie I woke up to a nauseatingly loud beeping. Rolling over, I covered my head with a pillow, trying to drown out the sound. I didn’t know what time it was, but my body informed me that it was too early to be up. The beeping stopped, only to start up again a minute later and what seemed even louder. I threw the cover off of me and sat up with a loud groan.“I’m up!” I shouted at nothing and no one in particular. I rubbed my hands over my face as the bedroom door opened.“Princess Jilliannah, forgive me. I forgot to set the alarm for a different time. Ambassador Howard was the last to sleep here, and he liked getting up now.”I shook my head, getting out of bed. “It’s fine, Erica.” I stretched and grabbed the toiletry bag, heading into the bathroom.           I washed and cleansed my face before brushing my teeth. I headed back into the bedr

25: So Many Dances
Jillie    With ten minutes left until the wedding was scheduled, Lexis began to help me into my dress. Kinley, who’d gone back to sleep after getting her hair put in rollers, was woken up so they could be taken out and she could put on her dress.“You look so pretty, Princess,” she stated as Courtney took the rollers out of her hair.“Thank you, sweetie. You look pretty, too.”“Thank you,” she stated with a smile.           Once everyone was dressed, I felt the butterflies in my stomach kick into overdrive. I let out a deep, shaky breath and realized that I would start crying at any moment. I hadn’t even been this emotional yesterday walking down the aisle. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself.“Are you ready, Bell Fiore?” Demetri asked, appearing at my side.“Yes.” I stated as “The Moment&rd

26: Honeymoon Destination
Jarren I was currently helping Jillie strip out of her dress. Due to all the traffic, we had about an hour’s drive to the private airstrip that would take us to our honeymoon spot. Once we’d gotten it off, she slipped into a yellow and orange maxi dress. She moved closer to me on the seat and curled into my side. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head.“I am so tired. I could sleep forever,” she stated through a yawn.“Well, you have time. Got ahead and take a nap.”“Great idea,” she responded, crawling into my lap and resting her head against my chest. I tightened my arms around her, and it wasn’t long before her breathing evened out.           With nothing else to do, I stared out the window as we slowly inched through traffic. By this time tomorrow, we’d be officially on our honeymoon. I sat back in my seat and s

27: Museum
Jarren I woke up to small nips and kisses on my chest. I opened my eyes to see the most beautiful girl in the world straddling me. She smiled at me before lowering her lips to mine. The kiss was slow and gentle. She snaked her tongue into my mouth, and my arms wrapped around her waist. Pulling back, she placed her hands on my chest and stared down at me as my hands went to her waist.“Well, that’s one way to wake me up,” I smirked.“You’re right, but I’m sure I can think of many,” she responded, running her hands over my chest.           I placed a hand on the back of her neck and pulled her down. Our lips met, and I instantly deepened the kiss, snaking my tongue into her mouth. She let out a moan, and I rolled us over.           My lips trailed down her jawline to her neck, and I began to suck lightly. She arched her body

28: Prove It
Jarren Once we made it back to the cottage, I followed Jillie inside. Walking into the kitchen, I took two blood packages from the refrigerator. After pouring them into a cup, I placed it in the microwave. When it was done, I took it out, downing it before putting the cup into the sink.           Walking into the bedroom, I found Jillie sitting at the end of the bed, removing her shoes. Going over, I untied the back of her dress for her.“I’m going to go get in the shower.”“Okay, babe.”           I began to strip down to my boxers as she grabbed some things from her luggage and entered the bathroom. Lying on the bed, I folded my hands behind my head and closed my eyes. I wasn’t sure how long I lay there, but I heard the shower go off. A few minutes later, I heard the door open.“Jarren.”

29: Want Me To Do What?
Jillie I knew I couldn’t have been asleep for more than a few hours, but my stomach nauseously turning had me bolting from the bed. Going quickly into the bathroom, I lifted the toilet seat and released the contents of my stomach.I knew Jarren had come in behind me, so it didn’t surprise me when I felt him pull my hair away from my face and lightly rub my back. Once I finished, I flushed the toilet and stood to my feet before grabbing my toothbrush. I proceeded to brush my teeth. When done, Jarren wrapped his arms around my waist.“I’m sorry.”“For what?” I questioned, laying my head back against his chest.“For doing this to you.”I laughed slightly. “It takes two to make a baby. I was a willing participant.” I paused. “It is weird, though. I thought this was when a woman would typically get over morning sickness.”“Typically, yes.

30: Lasts all Day
Jarren  “Ugh! Why is it called morning sickness if it lasts all damn day?” Jillie asked as she stomped out of the bathroom. She’d been battling morning sickness since she woke up last night. It was now almost one in the afternoon. She climbed onto the bed and buried her head in a pillow before turning onto her back. Reaching over, I began to rub her stomach gently. “I don’t know. I guess because it primarily happens for most women at that time,” I finally responded. She groaned. “I wanted to go back into town today and see the other sites.” “We can still go. As soon as you start to feel better.”
