Hilltop High was a school full of dramas and chaos and we have been getting them in full dosage these past weeks. Especially with the annihilation news. My friends told me that Eclipse pack planted a human spy in our school, to get hybrids who might be hiding their identity, with a huge amount of money as a prize for it. All hybrids and their families, well except mine, they don't really care if I was annihilated or not, had been in panic since then. I had been thrown into too much chaos that I almost forgot about the annihilation, I've had too much to deal with. But when I got to school this morning, I was forced back to reality. The reality of people like me. The hybrids.Three students from my school had gone missing, and their families were all over the place, the panic from everybody had increased because all the three students were hybrids. Nobody needed a fortune teller to tell us that the annihilation had begun. Tracy was

The four of us in the basketball court had to take few seconds to processe the new shocking information in our brain. And when it finally sank in, the twins and I expressed our shock in unison, "What?!""What the hell?" One of the twins said."Are you sure it's Russell's? You could be mistaken." The other twin tried reasoning."I'm not dumb Jayson. This is Russell's mobile number." Zayne replied, sounding a bit annoyed that Jayson asked the question."Chill bro. Was just asking.""What could they have met for? " Jayson asked rhetorically.I cleared my throat before saying, "Uhmmm, guys, I really think we shouldn't jump into conclusions. Plus, I've met Russell once and I don't think he's that kind of person.""Sweetheart, I know what you mean but you only met him once." One of the twins replied to me, I couldn't tell if it was sarcasm or.not."Yeah, I actally agree with Dahlia. It's hard to picture Russell like that. He's like the kindest soul I know. And let's not forget that Russell a

Kendall's sinister smile sent a cold shiver down my spine as I watched her sip the tea she was offered."Dahlia, what are you doing there? Come over here and sit down already! You kept your friend waiting for almost an hour!" My grandmother scolded. What?!Kendall had been with my grandmother and aunt for an hour?!"By the way, you should have told me that you were friends with Kendall Forrest. I would have asked you to invite her for dinner or something. She's such a sweet girl. She even offered to make tea for us. " My grandmother praised Kendall, looking at her with a proud smile on her face, something she had never done to me, her granddaughter. Then it clicked and my eyes widened with alarm. I rushed over to the table where the cups of tea sat."Kendall made you tea?! Are you okay?!" I asked, what if she had already poisoned them before I came."What do you mean?" My aunt asked , eyeing me.I scanned their

Zayne was wearing a yellow apron , covering in flour and holding a packet of sugar , staring back at me wide eyed. "Wha ..... what are you doing here? " Zayne sputtered. I gestured towards the front door , "I ... I don't know. " My head hung low , "I really don't know what I'm doing here or how I got here ....."He dropped the packet of sugar in his hands to focus his full attention on me , "What do you mean you don't know? You show up at my house at past ten in the evening and then you say you don't know how you got here. Are you joking? " His tone was dripping with sarcasm as usual."I ... Something happened .... so I ran and ended up here. I really don't know how I got here. I guess I needed my peace and quiet , and your house has just that. I can leave if you want me to. What was I even thinking coming to your secret place without your permission? " I muttered the last part and was already moving towards the door to go out. I'd have to find a place to stay for tonight or just su

I was frozen on my seat as I listened to "THE" Mason Klein ask me out on a date. With my wolf hearing I could hear my friends encourage me to say yes to him. Mason Klein was good looking , a top student , nice, respectful and had a good reputation in school. He was also wolfless and stays off trouble. He was like perfection in form of a human being. There was nothing to dislike about him. He looked and gave the aura of a perfect boyfriend. He was so perfect that him asking me out was like a dream. Maybe the moon goddess was finally shining a positive light to my direction. Maybe it was time to move on from Zayne Marshall , my mate that rejected me and wouldn't deny or accept his connection with another girl. So I looked up at Mason and replied , "Yes. I'll go on a date with you.  "I saw my friends give a victory fist pump from the side of my eye and Mason smiled brightly , obviously happy that I accepted his date offer.
