A Baby For Her Ex Alpha のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

Shadow’s POV"Sir! You have to see this!" The voice boomed from behind the closed door, and I groaned in annoyance. The girls who I'd spent the night with also awoke from their slumber due to the ruckus. They jerked awake and immediately started to dress up, their bare bodies rubbing together enticingly.I started to have second thoughts about indulging the more I stared at their creamy flesh topped with beautiful breasts and toned asses…that was until I was rudely jerked out of the fantasy."Sir!"I cursed under my breath and grabbed my robe from where I flung it last night on the chair and tied it around my waist.Normally an interruption like this would have me crushing this man's head between my palms but since they already were under the strict rules not to interrupt my rest time unless it was something of importance, I knew it wasn't for nothing.I jerked the door open and looked at the man holding a thick file in his hands. "I'll be down in twenty," I growled and shut the door

Caleb’s POVThe beeping sound woke me up.The constant machine beeping. Daniel's face was the first thing I saw when I came to, and the concerned look on his face made me worried.Instantly, I tried to sit up, but he forced me back down. "Calm the fuck down, man."I relaxed simply because it was way too hard to even fight against him. I relaxed back on the bed, turning my head to the side, I noted that it was late afternoon.I tried to speak but my throat was so dry. I turned back to face Daniel intent on asking for water but a plastic cup with ice chips in them appeared in front of me before I even uttered a word.I shot him a grateful look and with shaky hands, I struggled to get the cup to my lips.I crunched them between my teeth, and they immediately melted in between my lips. I drank the water, grateful for the coolness as it washed down my throat.I tried not to move too much as everything hurt even before I lifted it. Most especially my knee which throbbed like crazy."What h

Katherine’s POV My jaw dropped at his declaration, and I wondered whether he had a few screws loose in his head, after all this wasn't the first time, I'd met a devastatingly handsome man who turned out to be a basket case...if it seemed to be a running thing around me. "Tell me you're joking." I scoffed, even though the pit of my stomach felt uneasy. He crossed his feet in a dainty manner and addressed me coolly. "I never joke." "Must be such a bore, then," I muttered under my breath. Out loud I said. "You captured me to take my blood? What am I, a lab rat?" "It's quite sad to see that even you don't know the potential that you carry in your body." He took his gaze over my body, and I felt violated. If not because he said he was my brother- which I didn't fully believe- I would have thought he desired me but all I saw in his eyes was cold detachment, the type you had when you were assessing furniture to see if it would fit in with the aesthetics of the home. "Since I don't know,

Shadow’s POV The whole ground shook underneath my feet and men and women started to scream aloud in fright. I hung on to the nearest table to steady me. Once I gained my balance, I powered through and tried walking to the other side of the room despite the turbulence but suddenly the window exploded into a million bits halfway there. The screaming intensified and I crashed to the floor, something heavy slamming into the sides of my head. The pain was disorienting, and I lost my balance for several seconds, but I quickly got back up. I felt a thick liquid slide down my face, and I distractedly touched it, bringing my fingers down so I saw that it was blood despite being unable to take my eyes off the sight before me. A line of people was trying to sneak out on the ground and there was a helicopter waiting to take off a couple of feet away. I recognized the wild brown hair of the woman and I realized that it was Katherine! She was escaping before my very eyes!! I growled and sto

Caleb’s POVWe landed safely on the strip a couple of distance away from Shadow's mansion and I as well as the man directed to go rescue Kathrine jumped down first, while the rest were to follow soon after.Ethan said he was coming with us, or else the mission was canceled without him, so we grudgingly accepted."Good luck, man." Daniel bumps me on the back as I reach for my back before leaving and I bump him too, wishing him the same. The chopper went back and flew away, presumably to land in a more secure spot while they waited for us. I had to give a signal once we had success in retrieving Katherine, then they could attack and use the cover to escape. All in all, it seemed like a good plan, but one teeny, tiny mistake could make it blow all up in our face."Where is the map?" I gestured to the guy who was assigned to me to produce the layout of where Ethan guessed Katherine could be held."I have it. It says that Katherine should be held here." He points to a dot on the map."Let'
