Chapter 29: Grenade

Shadow POV:This is the first time we shared a bed. All night I just kept staring at Amari and I couldn't help but think to myself that she honestly looks like herThe hair, the complexion, and the eyes remind me of her. It's one of the reasons why I wanted the right time for me to take Amari's virginity but she had other plans.I'm physically attracted to Amari and emotionally I feel like we haven't connected. It's not her it's me I'm just finding it hard to open up"Are you okay...you look deep in thought" Amari asked as she drew circles on my chest with her"Oh no sweetheart just thinking about how good you were last night" slapping and then grabbing her ass she blushes"Oh," she whispers out. Looking over at the time it's 9:30 am"When do you want to go home" I ask her and she sighs rolling over to the other side"Do we have to go" she muffles into the sheet"Yes tsvetok so tell me when you're ready" Going over to her I kiss the back of her head. Getting up from bed I go towards t

Grenade part 2

Amari POV: "Shadow what's happening," I ask turning to face him. He ignores me pressing hard on the accelerator. The car speeds from lane to lane. Fastening my seatbelt he throws something onto my lap. Looking down I see that it's a gun and all the blood on my face drains"Wha-I don't-" I stutter and he cuts me off"Amari I love you but right now I really need help" A look of regret crosses his face and tears run down my face cause I know what he means“No please it hurts” I murmur. He's been training me to control ‘obsidian’ in case she comes out but when he says my trigger word it’s hard for me to fight it "I'm so sorry tsvetok, I promise I’ll make it up to you” he kisses my hand whilst keeping his eyes on the road“Please” I beg in a whisper "Shadow" he whispers and then everything goes blackObsidian POV:Finally, it's my time to shine ladies and gentlemen. Being Amari’s alter ego and personality disorder is just boring. She’s too sweet. Too weak she could learn from me Pickin

Chapter 30: Comply

Amari POV:I woke up hours ago with stitches on my shoulder. I've been sitting in a dark room with no windows and just walls. No one has walked in to check up on me and I'm starting to get cold but at least this unknown room has a comfortable bed One can only spend a few minutes at a time talking to themselves after that I might just need to go to a mental facility.....againHearing the door unlock I back away towards the headboard. The door hinges squeak as the door gets pushed openHearing footsteps nearing towards me I grab the duvet bringing it closer to my chest. I don’t know who it is but fear starts to kick in. A figure stops in front of my bed. I can't exactly make out who it is"Shadow?" I ask and then the man scoffs"I know the room is dark but comparing me to my little brother is a different kind of insult" his voice is deep and nerve-wracking.Feeling my blood run cold I try to stay calm maybe they're close- right maybe this is just the spare bedroom I mean Moscow is cold

Comply part 2

Amari POV: Getting up from the floor I turn around and I see them closing the door. Running towards it they close the door in my face"Let me out please I can't see" I scream kicking the door"I'll shut up I promise I'll stop talking" I sob sliding down the door"Tsvetok" a strained voice says coming from the other side of the darkness. Keeping quiet I realize I'm not alone in this room"Sweetheart is that you" the voice groans out in painWait is that"Shadow" I whisper out in shock"Oh thank god you're okay, are you okay" he asked his voice barely audible"Uhm I- I guess I'm fine" I whisper"Where are you" I ask him, maybe if he carries on talking I'll be able to find him"Sweetheart by the door there should –" he coughs and the sound of chains rustling comes afterward "There should be a light switch trace your hands over the wall " he winces out. Oh no he’s hurtDoing as he says I trace my hands over the wall feeling the switch under my hands I flick the switch. A small lightbulb

Chapter 31: Bad dream

Shadow POV:"How long has she been out for" Daniel asked. Turning to face him he leaned against the doorframe looking at her. Looking back at Amari I continue to twirl my finger around a curly piece of her hair. Turning into Obsidian is taking a toll on Amari. I’m scared that it might be killing her and I don’t know what to do anymore. I thought giving her the drug continuously was helping her gain the strength to come to terms with Obsidian but clearly, it’s not working "3 days” I sigh brushing her curly hair away from her forehead “When she wakes up we need to pretend she never met Luca," I say looking back at Daniel and he nods. “I feel like you should start being honest with her and maybe she will come to terms with what she is” he suggests. His right but I don’t want to admit it right now. He takes in my silence and walks out shutting the door behind him.I’m just trying to protect Amari. I brought her into all of this selfishly and I’m messing up but the least I could do is

Bad dream part 2

Shadow POV: Sitting on the bed I pick her up and I put her on my lap. She straddles me and I gently grab her throat loving the way she gasps in fear and arousal "Are you okay?" I ask her digging my hand in the back of her hair. She nods absentmindedly "Yes," she breathes her eyes pleading. Smashing my lips with hers I grab her ass and bring her closer to me"Ahh fuck" I groan when she moves on me exactly the way I want her to. She grinds herself on me and I tighten my grip on her waist"Don't play dirty, tsvetok. You just woke up let’s take it easy” I plant a kiss on her collarbone. Looking back at her she bites her lip looking at me with 'fuck me' eyes"I'm not sore," she says breathing so heavily. Feeling her pussy throb on my dick I try to calm myself down. I need to be gentle. I keep repeating in my head "Oh trust me sweetheart if you don't stop grinding your sweet ass on me you will be" I rasp and she whimpers. She continues grinding on me and I grab her thighs willing her to

Chapter 32: Let me tell a story

Shadow POV:"Luca is dead but his girl is on the loose," Daniel says. He pours himself some scotch and takes a sip waiting for me to say something"I don't care," I say lighting a cigar. He looks at me raising an eyebrow"What she's not a threat in any way" blowing out a cloud of smoke. The cloud disappears masking the air with the sweet aroma of the finest Cuban tobacco. He drinks the last sip of his scotch and he sits down in front of me "She's Luca's girl, he could've trained her and shit so I don't know why your so calm" he leans into the couch staring at me with worry lines"We have Amari if she wants to start shit" I hand him the cigar and he takes it. I’m so secure in my girl that I’m no longer worried anymore. I "I guess but –" A knock at the door cuts him off Turning our heads towards the door we briefly look at each other and then back at the door. I hold onto the gun under my desk and I glare at the door "Come in," I say. Daniel takes out his gun and places it by his si

Chapter 33: Breaking point

Amari POV:Waking up I jump out of bed with a nauseating feeling. Rushing to the bathroom I drop down on my knees in front of the toilet and I puke. Groaning my head starts to pound painfully. Rubbing my forehead to ease the pain I take notice of where I am. Looking around I notice that I'm in Shadow's bathroom. Wiping my mouth I push myself up using the toilet seat "Tsvetok are you okay?" I hear him ask. Going to the sink I open the tap and I bring my mouth close to it. Drinking some water I swash it around my mouth and I spit it out. Shuffling out of the bathroom I look at him"I'm fine I just feel dizzy" but mostly nauseated. Whatever he gave me didn't sit well with me but at least the nightmares stopped."Are you sure?" he asked coming towards me. He looks at me worry lines forming on his face. Opening my eyes my vision is a little foggy. Shaking my I try focusing on one of him then the three I'm seeing"I –I just need to sit down maybe" Going towards him I almost collapse but he

Breaking point part 2

Daniel POV: Parking in the parking lot of the hospital we climb out. Xavier opens the door in the backseat and takes Amari into his arms. Walking into the hospital doctors and nurses come rushing to us with a bed. “Sir you can hand her over to us she’s in safe hands,” A male nurse says trying to take Amari from him “I think I’m capable of carrying my girl and putting her on the bed myself,” he says but the nurse doesn’t move out of his way “Look his just doing his job,” I say intervening because Xavier looks like his two seconds away from killing someone. He completely ignores the nurse shoving past him. He puts her on the bed himself and the doctors take her through the door Going to the waiting area I sit down whilst Xavier paces up and down. Every time the doors open we look up to see if it's the doctor but it’s not The door opens again and we look up to see the doctor who took Amari "Uhm Mr Stalin," the doctor says walking over to us and we stand up to meet her halfway. "

Chapter 34: Kidnapped

Shadow POV:Amari has been in hospital for 2 days and I haven’t left. I just pretended to leave after Daniel and fought but once I saw the lights switch off on this part of the wing I sneaked back in through the window Every time a nurse came in I would just hide in the bathroom, the closet, or even underneath the bed. I’m not going to leave Amari here alone. She needs someone to be bedside her when she wakes up. Not to mention the doctor doesn’t know that Amari needs to take BR12 every single night to keep her stable Looking over at the clock it reads 4:15 pm. The 3rd visiting hours of the day are about to start. Sighing I turn over to look at her. Her eyes start to flatter and the machine beeps loudlyRushing towards her I see that her heart rate is increasing she must be panicking. Placing her hand in mine I gently squeeze it to show her I'm here. Her heart rate goes back to normal and she slowly starts opening her eyes"Hey, sweetheart" I softly say leaning down to kiss her fore
