The news had lowered the temperature in the room by several centigrade degrees. Everything felt icy cold, although Blad Simpson's murderous stare could be likened to the heat of hell itself.“What did you just say?” Blad shouts, as Adhara processes what she just heard.Adhara couldn't deny that she had been hurt by the betrayal, after all, she had been a girl who hadn't received much love from her father and her stepmother had basically had her as a hindrance to her perfect life. So, when a caring man like Blake had approached her and would have given her some warmth, she fell for his charm and imagined a life away from the torments her family had caused her. But, now everything had changed in a drastic way.And her sister's smile, when Blake mentioned her pregnancy, was only proof of how much she was enjoying taking away from her sister, the mate that was meant for her. So, Adhara swallowed hard and pretended not to care, as she rose from her seat.“You don't have to worry about what

Night had come and no one had slept well. Blake had left worried that his plan had turned out to be a complete disaster, while Emma realized how lost she was to never have anything to inherit. Her mother, who had only looked at her with a dirty look on her face, was biting her nails as she realized that all the life she had grown accustomed to could be completely gone. The two women had to spend the night in a hotel, while Blad, who didn't know how to talk to his daughter, stayed in the house waiting for the sun to rise.He didn't even know where to start and every time he thought about it, everything became more complicated, because he noticed that he had failed in many ways and the time he had left was not enough to fix everything. The morning came and Adhara left her house to look for a job. She had already had her revenge on her ex-partner by not giving her body and the rest of her life to a person who clearly did not deserve it, so now she had to go on with

Adhara narratesI saw everything double, but I couldn't say that I didn't understand what was happening to me. I had ignored that I was in front of two vipers that would not give up easily. My biggest mistake was forgetting that and now, I'm horny with a stranger next to me.Wishing he is touching something nice, I run my hand over his bulls and am surprised that he is not a person with a lot of belly fat or smells like cigarettes and meat. I smile as I bring my hands up and feel how his jaw is set.“Do you like what you're touching?” the man asks in a voice so manly it makes my body tingle. His voice could cause me to orgasm and no one would judge me for it, at least, no woman, because I think we'd all get the same reaction.“ You are fit. That's good, because I like to eat well. “ I whisper and he bites lightly on his lower lip while his red eyes devour me just by looking at me.“I like to eat well too.” whisp

Omnipresent narratorThe minutes tick by as Adhara calms down a bit and leaves for the interview she has worked so hard to get. With a lot of makeup on so that her puffy eyes don't show, she leaves for the interview at the best company in the country. As Adhara leaves, ignoring her family, Jareth wakes up and looks at the money on the table with annoyance. As if it were a kind of deja vu, he gets up and smiles to see that this time, no note has been left for him.Dazed, he goes into the bathroom and his mood drops several notches as he reads the message. Memories of the night and early morning make him smile for a brief second. Looking at the time, he steps into the shower and his body burns as the water touches his skin. With his pelvis aching and his back burning, he steps out of the bathroom and smiles bitterly when he sees that he doesn't have his shirt. Tensing her jaw, she grabs her phone and asks for new clothes as she stares at the bed where they

Adhara sees the elegantly dressed people and is embarrassed. The old woman who had brought her, had not only confessed to her that she was immensely wealthy upon entering her as she called it 'old house' but, confirmed her wealth by giving her a period dress that could cost more than an entire neighborhood. So, she felt uncomfortable, her family was not poor, but, she clearly could not afford such luxuries. So, she wanted to take off the dress she had, before it did her a damage that would cost her a kidney.“Hello, fair lady," Jackson says and immediately Jareth growls, making him back away.“Good evening," Adhara whispers, feeling self-conscious about being in front of such elegant people.“Is something wrong, my dear?” Eda asks with a sweet smile on her lips.“Nothing, ma'am...”“Every," says Eda.“Mrs. Every” corrects Adhara “I was looking for the room where I got dressed, I need to ta
