Accidentally Mated To Alpha Atlas .Chapter TWELVE.Back outside on the busy street Anais didn’t know what to do. She needed to move out of sight of the doors so that they couldn’t see her, but she wasn’t sure where to go. She didn’t have any money or a cell phone, even if she did know how to get in touch with Atlas. ANAIS’S POVThe next few days were boring for Anais. She felt increasingly restless and adrift. Atlas had taken care of her that night after she had spent the afternoon on the street, but the next day ended up working from home a lot of the time. He spent hours in his office and though he frequently came out to check on Anais and though he always touched her somehow, Anais still felt very alone.She didn’t feel sick or rejected like she had that first day, thank goodness, but there wasn’t anything really to do and she felt like she wasn’t working on building a relationship with her alpha. “Let’s get you set up,” Atlas told her as they entered the building. Anais gaped at him but didn’t have time to question him further before a sales attendant approached them.“Alpha Hawke,” he greeted them. The beta was tall and dark with a bald head and a wide smile. Anais didn’t like him. She wasn’t sure what it was, but the beta made her feel inferior with just a look. Atlas didn’t seem to notice her and Anais watched his face as he clenched his jaw and shook his head. Anais’s stomach churned at the sight of the alpha so upset.
