Semua Bab Heart of Ice: Bab 41 - Bab 50

Viviane The days passed with impressive rapidity, given all that was happening in the Mendes de Albuquerque family. I went to the appointment with Mrs. Marta the day after our conversation and we were fully aware of everything that would happen from that day on. She had stage II breast cancer, which meant that the lumps were already of a size that it would not be possible to remove them, without affecting the breasts. Which meant that she would have to remove the entire breast and do the reconstruction later, as soon as possible. This news left her even more shaken than she already was and it was very difficult to follow her suffering in the face of such a fact. It was a very delicate situation and she would still have to go through radiotherapy. These would be complicated days, and for this very reason, soon after the consultation, I managed to convince her to at least her Rodolfo and João Pedro, since I made such a point of not interfering in João Felipe's perfectly planned life.

João FelipeThe view from my living room window, in the commercial building that housed the Mendes de Albuquerque branch in New York, was spectacular. From the time I was on the thirtieth floor of the building, I could see much of the magnificent city, known worldwide and the desired destination of many.I was able to achieve all the goals I set for myself over the last few months and was very satisfied with myself and everything I had accomplished. But that was it.I didn't feel happy and the work was no longer motivating me like before. The proof of this was that it had been a long time since I had a very important report on my desk and zero willingness to analyze it. Worrisome.I needed to issue some opinions on various investor accounts of our company and had no desire to read the data placed in front of me by my secretary for a few hours.I was discouraged, that was it, I needed to admit it, at least to myself, since my pride didn't allow me to let others know how restless I was.

VivianeBut even in the face of my refusal to live any kind of loving relationship, João Pedro and I had agreed that if any of us knew someone special and wanted to live this relationship, we would separate amicably and our family would have to accept our decision. Our daughter would continue to be supported by the Mendes de Albuquerque family and, even being with other people, we would still be the usual friends, now with an even stronger bond, which is our little Sarah." Look Viviane, how beautiful this bikini looked on our Sarah! " Marta spoke excitedly. She had entered the mansion with Sarah to put on a bathing suit on the little one and now she was carrying her in her arms, who was already dressed in a bikini all pink and full of ruffles, which made Sarinha even pinker. She had also changed her clothes and was now in a discreet and elegant navy blue swimsuit. Soon the two of them were inside the pool, Sarah was supported by a colorful and extravagant float and had fun laughing a

João Felipe My meeting with Megan was a complete fiasco and yet she had sent me several messages since then. I had been feeling so unhappy with everything, that not even the possibility of a night of sex lifted my mood and I simply declined her invitation to go to her house after the vernissage.I knew I needed to distract myself a little, and relax, but since I didn't feel any willingness to go out or even meet with anyone, nothing better than knowing how things were at home.I was feeling my mother was more different every day, I couldn't explain exactly what had changed, but she seemed a less talkative and expansive person, and when I questioned her, she always replied that it was my impression, only. What was not my surprise when she informed me that she would be comi

João Felipe My parents had called me in the afternoon, informing me that they were already in my apartment and that the trip had been smooth. Despite missing them, I had to complete some deals before I could go home to see them.As soon as I walked in, just because of the climate of the place, I could feel like I wasn't alone and that feeling of coming home and meeting my family was really good and I had no idea how much I missed it."Good night, son!" Soon my father got up from the couch where he was when I arrived and hugged me" I was missing my son very much. ''He released me from his embrace and looked at me as if assessing my appearance. Before his gaze of displeasure and before he could say anything, I stepped forward and aske
