Lahat ng Kabanata ng MY ARRANGED HUSBAND IS THE MAN I CHEAT ON HIM WITH : Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

- LORELEI - Have you ever battled getting up from a bed to a different spot in your room? It may just be a few steps away but your physical health makes it seem like you’re walking through Mount Everest and have already gone half way with body aching all over. I let out a soft sigh, trying to make my way to the bathroom while glueing my hands to the wall. It’s my only support. Apparently, whatever drug Catherine gave me still had after effects in the morning, contrary to what I was told. I never found it wise to believe that pale ass living ghost to begin with. Another sigh leave my lips, followed by a groan. I have to know what it was that she gave to me. What kind of medication could be so bad that it would make someone pass out and experience such discomfort? I need to know and feed it to her. Make her paralysed for a day or two, or even forever, I don’t care. I hate her. Way more than I do Ace and that should scream volumes. I don’t even know the human yet she’s chosen to ta

- LORELEI - Does one say thank you to the cause of her misery? Does one show gratitude to the aid offered by someone she would rather be away from? That, I do not know. I cannot understand this new attitude of his and it seriously bugs me. Ace has a way of being kind to me then switching his attitude immediately. Nothing is certain with him, at least, not without a catch. “Turn around.” I say sternly the moment we’re at the start of the tub. I want to take my clothes off and I don’t want him to see me do so. To my surprise, he turns, his back is now to me. I blink. This obedience without a word is scary to me. Can I even refer to this as obedience? He’s just doing as I request and it is very new to me. Very strange. “Did you hit your head against a wall from last night till now?” My curiosity is ardent. The chuckle that reverberates through the tiled bathroom walls makes goosebumps pop all over my skin. “Don’t push your luck, princess.” Princess? My brows furrow. I stretc

- LORELEI - I do not get it. It feels like a set up the more I look into it. It simply does not make any sense. How can someone keep a keen eye on me to the extent of meeting a waitress I had an encounter with prior, to give me a harmful drug? What if I had not starved at all that day, would the story have been different or would I have been served a spiked drink? And if in fact I was served a spiked drink, would it have had the same effect it did when my stomach was literally empty? I can't tell. I still don't know the name of the drug and I have no way of finding out as I had already consumed it and rested for quite a long few days, which is enough time for it to have worn out of my system so I cannot run a test using my blood either, especially since I currently am on medication. I also have no idea who the medical specialist who took care of me is and that leaves me at a huge disadvantage because apparently, my 'husband' has been yapping all over about 'keeping me in good healt

- LORELEI - What is wrong with me? I have never felt so defeated yet not at the same time. I have never been so consumed with negative emotions to the point where my body is trembling with terror at the news. To the point where it feels like my heart is about to rupture with overwhelming emotions and not in a good way. To the point where my body cannot control itself and shakes vigorously in terror. My throat feels heavy and my chest feels clamped up. It's almost as if I can barely breathe. I let my other hand fold over my palm, with the aim to stop it from quivering as violently as it already is but that only worsens my cause. Now, my entire being feels like it is on fire. I let out an exhale, running my hands through my hair while trying to take control of my breathing. I don't even know if this is working but I keep going regardless. Finally, at the expense of my arms, it has been revealed to him that it was no ordinary accident, I swallow, although I already knew that. The voi

- LORELEI - He met me first, I remind myself pacing down his corridor like a walking corpse, letting my shoulder drag against the wall. He offered me something I never asked for. My eyes are dull. Yet, it’s me offering a collateral. One I never would’ve succumbed to even while drunk. I don’t know why I did it, now that it’s been done, it seems like every form of trauma and rage cleared away from my head like a passing fog. Don’t get me wrong, I am still angry, but I just leased myself out to the one person I detest the most based on revenge. Revenge that is not even targeted at my father and my stupid step family, the most deserving people of it. I exhale, completely distressed as my brows narrow into a frown. I hit my hand, folded into a fist, against the wall. The feeling of rage and defeat is a bitter emotion fighting side by side in my mind. My brain finally seems to function properly outside my rage. I let out a sigh, halting in a spot. I rest my back on the wall, now st
