The Billionaire’s not so Secret Mistress のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

George Galanti~•~Abigail gasped as though she wasn’t expecting me.Well, I wasn’t expecting myself to walk out after her. I saw the way my father stared at me as I left but I ignored it. “George, what are you doing in here?”“The same thing you’re doing,” I responded, trapping her to the door. “Taking a break from everyone outside.”She licked her lips and tried to push past me but I didn’t let her. “What if someone saw us coming in together?”“They get paid to keep their mouths shut, Abby. Stop pretending like you don’t know why I am here. You’re driving me crazy.”Abigail frowned.“Will you just let me talk?”Abigail had always been the kind of woman to talk about how she was feeling. Despite being reserved sometimes, she couldn’t hide how she was feeling, but now she had completely shut me out and I hated it. I didn’t know what she was thinking. I didn’t know what conclusion she had drawn up in her head. The last time I saw her, she had said I wasn’t honest with her when I’d bee

Abigail Hayes~•~“Why the fuck do you mean by your pregnant!?”“Shhh.” I shushed Maya aggressively even if we were the only ones in our apartment. “Be quiet.” For some reason, I thought saying it out loud would make it come true. I hadn’t done any tests so I wasn’t certain. “I said there’s a possibility.”I hadn’t told Maya as soon as I suspected it. I had waited one more week to observe things. I’d done extensive research on Google just to make sure I truly had pregnancy signs. I didn’t want it to be true, which was why I kept hoping they would be signs of something else, like a minor sickness.Don’t get me wrong. I had nothing against babies, but just not at this age. What would my mom think of me? I didn’t have a husband yet. Hell, I wasn’t even in a relationship. My mom had always warned us about having safe sex, but I met George and all I knew about safe sex flew out the window. If we thought about it, it was both our faults. We fucked raw without thinking about the consequences

Abigail Hayes~•~George didn’t stop breathing. He didn’t stop trying. He didn’t pause. He didn’t freeze. He didn’t make any indication that he heard me. He was still as calm as ever. I was confused.“I said I’m pregnant.”“I heard you the first time.”So he did hear me. Why was he acting like he didn’t then? “Why aren’t you saying anything?”“What do you mean?”“I just told you I’m pregnant.”“Again, I heard you. I’m just wondering why you’re telling me this piece of information.”My mouth dropped open. What the fuck was that even supposed to mean? There was only one reason I was telling him and I didn’t think he was that dense that he wouldn’t know why. He finally stopped typing again, then stood up to round his table. He leaned back on the table, folded his arms across his chest, and stared at me. “Why did you come all the way here to tell me that you’re pregnant?”I blinked, stunned. He couldn’t be any more different from the man I used to know. “Maybe because you’re responsible f

George Galanti~•~I didn’t handle things well.I was used to acting logically and not on my emotions, but I couldn’t help it when it came to Abby. I was mad at her, so I couldn’t stop myself from being harsh.I was hurt when she left me in the bathroom at that stupid dinner and my stupid brain thought the only reasonable thing to do was to get back at her. I was deaf to whatever she was saying. I just wanted her to feel the way I felt that day.If she was truly pregnant, it was a serious matter that involved me and I didn’t handle it well. Fuck.I ran my hand over my hair. I had the strongest urge to break something in my office but I didn’t want my secretary to burst in again like she had done when Abigail was here.Abigail had asked if I was fucking her too. She didn’t know that I couldn’t get near another woman without feeling irritated. She didn’t know that she was the only woman I was attracted to. She was the only woman I wanted. I’d never felt that way before so it was foreign

George Galanti~•~Abigail was sitting quietly in my car. We both were.It was obvious she was still mad at me and I knew that I deserved it. I couldn’t even do anything about it. I’d apologized already, but then again, those were just words and I needed to show her through my actions that I was sorry. The problem was that I didn’t know how to do that.“Is dancing good for our baby?” I asked when the silence had become too deafening. Her head snapped in my direction and for the first time since she entered my car, she was looking at me. “Our baby?”“Why? Were you sleeping with another man alongside me?”“What? No.”“Then, the phrase is correct. Is dancing good for our baby?” I repeated the question, not caring if it sounded absurd to her. It was true anyway. The little human currently growing in her stomach was ours, together.Abigail cleared her throat. “Um, I’m not sure.”“And you didn’t think of that before going to a club?”She glared at me. “Most forms of exercise are good for pr
