Lahat ng Kabanata ng A Luna's Silent Tears: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

~Lucienne~ My heart skipped a beat at his words, the implications sinking in slowly. Killian, the Alpha himself, would be overseeing my treatment personally. It was both terrifying and exhilarating to think that he would be so involved in this. I expected him to assign a job to me and then distance himself from me immediately after I regained consciousness but it seemed the reverse was the case. "I... I don't know what to say," I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper as I struggled to process the sudden turn of events. Killian's gaze softened, and he went back to his seat now. "You don't have to say anything, Lucienne," he assured me, his voice gentle yet firm. "I want what's best for me and that means what's best for you, my personal assistant. If that means I have to step in personally, then so be it." “D-do you think an omega like me is fit to be by your side? As your personal assistant at that?” “You fit the criteria I seek, so I don't see why not. And yes, never regard

~Killian~ Rage. Anger. Pain. These were all I could feel and see when she whispered those words “You can't do that…” If not for the incident that happened back then, she would be in university, studying. Her parents should be holding balls to find suitors for her but instead, she was here, insisting that she deserves to live as an omega. Why? It took everything in me not to open my mouth to speak and ask her why she was punishing herself like this so I calmly asked her to freshen up before I left. Once I landed on the ground floor, I stormed out of the elevator and headed straight for the back of the house. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions, but one thought kept surfacing above all else- Daniel. I needed to find him. I needed to make him pay for what he did to Lucienne, for turning her into someone she wasn't meant to be. The rage bubbled inside me, fueling my thoughts as I reached the secluded spot where I usually stashed my clothes before shifting. With practiced ease, I le

~Lucienne~After finishing breakfast, Killian and I made our way to the third floor, where the therapists were waiting. I felt a knot of anxiety tightening in my stomach with every step we took. The thought of opening up to a stranger about my deepest fears and vulnerabilities was daunting, but I knew it was a necessary step for my healing process. As we reached the third floor, we entered a spacious room with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Five people stood in a line, waiting for me. Three women and two men. They all appeared friendly, their expressions welcoming, but I couldn't help but feel a pang of nervousness.Killian and I sat down and he asked each of them to introduce themselves. Once they were done, I whispered to him, asking which of them Doctor Hayes recommended. I knew Doctor Hayes had excellent taste but as I glanced at the woman, an uneasy feeling washed over me. There was something about her that didn't sit right with me. Trusting my gut, I turned to

~Lucienne~Immediately I closed the door behind me, and the first thing I did was heave a sigh of relief. The way the eyes of both women stripped me on the spot made me uncomfortable to the core. Not wasting a second more, I headed to the very place no one would find me, upstairs, to the room. Once I got in, I sat down, my heartbeat gradually steadying after the deep breaths I took in the elevator. Times like this, I wish I had something to occupy my mind because all I could think of was who was that other lady beside the Luna. I knew the Luna called her ‘his fiance’ but how come I didn't know anything about it? Would my staying here affect them since I am practically staying in the same quarters with Killian? These questions kept on growing and growing until I had a headache forcing me to leave the floor. Nicholas told me there was a studio and library here so I decided to pass the time. I went to the library but it was too silent for me, making my thoughts worse so I settled for

~Lucienne~Olivia's words sent a shiver down my spine, her anger still simmering beneath the surface despite her attempt at an apology. I forced a tight smile, trying to brush off her threat as if it were nothing more than empty words even though I knew they weren't. Killian stepped forward, breaking the handshake. "Alright, Olivia. Go cool off."With a final glare in my direction, Olivia turned on her heel and stalked away, her posture tense with anger. I let out a shaky breath, relieved that the confrontation was over, at least for now.As Olivia disappeared into the darkness, the tension in the air slowly began to dissipate and before I knew it, the other warriors gathered around me, offering words of praise and encouragement for my defense skills during the spar."Nice moves out there, Lucy," one of them said, clapping me on the back with a grin. "You held your own against Olivia. Not an easy feat. She keeps acting like she's the boss. Good to see someone finally clap back for onc
