Maria's POV I jerked awake, not knowing what had woken me up. Everywhere was eerily quiet, and for some weird reason, it felt as if I was hanging upside down. The dirty air filled my lungs, and I found myself gasping for breath. It felt like I was in the corner of a large empty room, as every sound I made echoed loudly across the room.
