DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN Chapter 101~ I haven’t told Devin about Devon and I yet, and I was certain that Kim wouldn’t feel it was her place to tell him, which meant that Devon had told him! The thought of Devon talking about our relationship thrilled me. It meant that he felt we were important enough to mention. I hoped that it also meant that he believed we would be together for a while. I wanted to ask Devin more questions for detailed information to see exactly what was said and what he thought it meant, but that didn’t seem at all appropriate. My rumination was interrupted when Biggie slammed three Ball jar glasses of water on our table, making us all jump. Kim turned to him, looking perturbed. "Um, Kylie’s the only one lactating. I want my usual margarita on the rocks, extra lime, no salt.” She looked at Biggie like he was crazy for forgetting her normal order after all this time, then she gingerly picked up her water glass and moved it away from her, as if it wer

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN Chapter 103~Once inside, I checked the directory and found that Booker Industries was housed on the top floor. A kind looking older gentleman in a distinguished gray suit held the elevator door open for me, so I scurried in before I could lose my nerve. My elevator companion nodded a quick goodbye to me before exiting on a mid-level floor, leaving me to ride the rest of the way to the top of the building alone. The back wall of the elevator was a giant mirror, so I used the time to fluff my hair and do a quick check of my teeth to make sure there wasn’t anything stuck in them. As I bared my teeth at my reflection, I wondered if there were security cameras in use on this elevator. If so, the security guard was probably having a good laugh at me cheesing at myself. If not, maybe I could talk Devon into screwing me in here later. I had never before tried sex in an elevator, but Devon could make anything hot.I pictured us riding down to the ground l

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN Chapter 105~He talked about my beloved town like he could morph it into whatever he felt it should be. “What kind of project?” I spat the words out.“We are going to turn Collen shores, Nairobi into a destination.” He gave me an exaggerated smile as he started his spiel. It felt like he was practicing his speech to win over the locals to his way of thinking. I frowned at him as he continued. “There will be a shopping boardwalk leading up to a huge pier that features local artists and vendors. Anchoring the end of the pier, we will build a double decker state of art restaurant that juts out over the lake. We’ll have live music and a prominent bar that will put that ramshackle little place Biggie calls a restaurant to shame.”I had crossed my arms over my belly waiting for him to stop trying to sell me on his plans. Rather than taking the hint, he continued on. “It will have a huge marina that will draw in sailboats and other boating enthusiasts fr

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN Chapter 107~My ex-husband, Richard, looked extremely bored as he followed a hugely pregnant Tiffany through the store, I began to wonder when he came out of jail. I was not surprised though, I know what he is capable of doing. Tiffany looked like she had stuffed a soccer ball into her too-tight mini dress. She had somehow managed to jam her feet into 4-inch heels. She made direct eye contact with me and seemed like she was going to turn the other way, when Richard spotted me and yelled a greeting across the store."Kyles cubes!” I cringed at the nickname he insisted on using for me, despite the fact that I didn’t care for it. “What on earth are you doing in this store?” He posed the question as he walked towards me.I was saved from having to answer when he got close enough to see Aire. “Oh.” He gawked at my him obviously surprised as Kim put down the tiny white and blue baseball uniform she had been admiring and walked up behind me, ready to te

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN Chapter 109~Devon and I spent the next several days together, except when we needed to work. We laughed, we talked, and we made love. It was a glorious, happy time, as long as I didn’t think about his big time plans for my sleepy, little town.I should have known that the protective cocoon that we had crafted for just the two of us couldn’t last. We were in my bed eating a not so healthy snack of corn chips and canned, squeeze cheese, when Devon said the words that burst our two-person bubble of isolation and pleasure. “So, I was thinking that maybe it is time for you to come with me to a family event. How about if you come to Sunday brunch with me this week?”It didn’t go unnoticed that he said the words ‘with me’ twice, which made my ever present guilt boil to the surface. Upon seeing his family again, it would be impossible to ignore the fact that I had first attended Booker family functions on Devin’s arm. When Devon and I were alone in my
