Chapter 2A group of bodyguards follow us at all times. People look at us from top to bottom and it is no wonder we have more security than the president of Germany.Wendy jumps in excitement as she enters the evening dress store. I'm not in the mood for any of this. Sabrina is a control freak. I have a room full of ball gowns, shoes of all kinds, handbags of all sizes and colours. And not to mention the jewelry."Wendy, I don't need anything." I mutter wearily as I watch her bring a couple of dresses for me. We spend the entire afternoon looking for unnecessary things. My sister-in-law takes me by my hand as we prepare to enter the property. Six tortuous years caged me in this place, six years under the mandate and orders of Sabrina Schulz. People call me lucky to have the love of the most powerful mobster on the continent. However, I would not call it love. Dad reproaches me because according to him I haven't given Sabrina a chance. He's a good man who loves and adores me, but no. I

Chapter 04Sabrina SchulzSay something stupid, say it now before Sabrina realizes you're nervous about a man you don't know and it's obviously not him.“Erick Spencer, Mrs. Schulz.” His blue eyes look at me mockingly. The German is behind him looking at what I would do. I look at Erick's hand and walk past the mobster. Sabrina gives a satisfied half-smile. I hear the bodyguard click his tongue.“My wife is something… special. She doesn't like new people. However, as you know my wife is the most dearest thing to me, much more than my empire.” He sits in the swivel chair at his desk. “That's why you're here Erick, to protect Mrs Schulz. I have hired you because Dimitri, my best friend and lifelong colleague, has given me very positive references from you.” My husband makes me sit on his lap. Erick stares at me and then at his new boss. Sabrina points to the lighter for me to pass it to him, and I do so without delay. He quickly light his cigar."Five years in special services and three

Chapter 06Sabrina SchulzHis eyes tell me everything.I am confident that I will not be able to save myself from this. My body is being dragged to the punishment room. Angela gets in the way between the door and Sabrina, but a gun to her head drives her back. Erick has his arms crossed and I shake my head when I see his intention to intervene.I close my eyes as I feel the click of the door. From here I can hear Angie's sobs. I tremble as I feel him pass behind me. He walks over to one of the drawers near the window and I gasp as I watch him pull out a riding crop."Kneel down," he exclaims in a tone so icy that it makes hairs on my skin stand on end."Sabrina…" I gasp. The German bit his lower lip before slapping me in the face."Why are you doing this to me, love? I have given you my life for six years, I have built a castle for my queen, and you still don't love me? What do other men have that I don't have?" His lips leave trails of saliva down my cheeks. "But I'm sure of one thin

Chapter 8Sabrina Schulz.I squeeze my legs as I see how Gian's gaze meets mine. The Italian enters behind him and I feel how my soul theoretically leaves my body. Erick gives me a fleeting smile, whereas the German holds his back straight with arrogance and haughtiness. The blood will flow only if the Italian dies in front of everyone.Gian Lucas says something to his henchman. He just nods. I turn to the side to take Adele by the hand and protect her in case someone gets shot. Sabrina walks up to the Italian, perhaps to provoke him.“I thought you were dead already, Gian. Bad grass never dies, does it?" the German says mockingly."If you die, I'll keep your wife's delicacy, yes?" He answers with the same tone as Sabrina. I can see from here how his body shakes. My heart starts pounding. Erick positions himself in front of me. In one of his ears, he wears a microphone with which he communicates with the rest of the men. As the twins cling to the Italian's arm, Sabrina stands alone, e

Chapter 10Sabrina Schulz.I cover my face with a pillow.I wake up like a teenage girl who has been spoken to for the first time by her crush. I sit on the edge of my bed and listen to my overflowing heart. Did Erick really say that?'Because you are addicted to Sabrina, so much so that I have already become addicted to you…'I put my hands on my mouth so as not to scream. I realized that I hadn't slept at all as it was almost seven in the morning. After his strange confession, the blonde left my room leaving me with so many questions to ask him. Sabrina left for Mexico last night to make some deliveries and negotiations. At least I will have three days of calm.I finished taking a shower and getting ready.Angie smiles at me as soon as she sees me and I take a deep breath realizing the bodyguard is nowhere to be seen.
