Revenge on The Alpha Who Rejected Me のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 11 - チャプター 20

VIOLETThe sunlight peeked from the curtains as day settled in over the night. I tossed and turned in the bed for a while, pulling the blankets over my head to shield me from the annoying rays of sunlight. After some minutes, I peeled the blankets off and opened my eyes. It was already morning. My eyes scoured through the room, taking in everything I was seeing. The room, the blankets, the vase by the window. My eyes lingered on the carnations still in the vase. For some reason, my hands instinctively went to my neck. The mark. Everything that happened yesterday was very much real. It hadn’t been a dream.I was still in Dark Moon pack, mated to their Alpha. In a few days, I would stand before them and be announced as Luna of the pack. My heart started to beat faster as the thought crossed my mind. I would be Luna.It shouldn’t have surprised me that much, seeing that I would have still been Luna if Tristan hadn’t rejected me. My fist tightened at the mere thought of Tristan, the one wh

VIOLET“So, how are you liking Dark Moon so far, Sofia?” Reese started. “Well…I’m actually loving it here. Zayn showed me around and told me about different places and spots. I really like it. The restaurants, malls, and everything. This place is amazing. It’s really nice that you have a pack that fosters community and togetherness so much.” Reese nodded her head, listening to everything I was saying. It felt good having someone give me their full undivided attention. It was really nice getting someone to care this way. As good as it felt having someone listen to what I had to say, my guard was still up. I still didn’t know if Reese genuinely wanted to hang out with me or if she wanted to get something out of me. She was Lucian’s sister, after all. Maybe Lucian had sent her here so she could get something out of me. Or maybe she had some ulterior motives. I tried to push those thoughts out of my head. There was no point in starting to overthink. Reese was still here, of her own ac

LUCIANSo far, so good. I’d seen the days that passed as more or less a success. I was getting updates from Zayn, so I knew Violet was slowly adjusting to life in the pack. Reese was also spending a lot of time with her, so she didn’t feel too lonely. That was at least good.I didn’t need anything that would jeopardize the plan I had worked so hard to build. The plan I had put so much into. I was tolerating Violet only for what she could do for me.I hadn’t started prodding for information just yet, but I knew that would come with time.My hand absentmindedly drifted to the mark on my neck—the mark Violet had made. The mark that sealed the relationship we had with each other. After that day, it was as if I had become acutely more aware of her.It was like I could feel her anywhere and everywhere. I could now pick up her scent whenever I passed by anywhere she had been. It was driving me insane. I felt like breaking something. Or someone. Anyone that would be available. My inner wolf,

VIOLETIt all seemed like some kind of dream to me. I felt like maybe I would wake up and find myself back in my old pack house. Alone in my room. Wondering why I had even been born in the first place. But it was different now. Every single thing was different, and nothing was like it once was. I was a Luna now.Luna of one of the best packs across the peninsula—the Dark Moon Pack. Feared and respected both in name and prowess. To top it off, I was mated to the Alpha of said pack.I had left the function after a while of greeting and exchanging pleasantries with the pack members. Everybody wanted to get a glimpse of me and at least have a small talk with their new Luna.I had expected such a reaction and had been preparing for it, but it didn’t make it any less nerve-wracking. After a while, it was hard to ignore the growing exhaustion gnawing at my bones. It seemed Lucian had taken note of it and politely excused us from the pack members. He then led me to my room and promptly left w

LUCIANSpending the whole night obliging the drinking requests of my pack members was one thing. Waking up with a terrible hangover was another completely different thing.I winced as I cracked my neck to the side. The sunlight was just about peeking through the curtains, indicating that it was well past daytime.I got up from the bed, still feeling groggy from the night before. After my talk with Violet, I had left her room and had been cornered by Zayn.He pretty much dragged me to meet the other guys, and we spent the better part of the night drinking our hearts out. Now, I was suffering the consequences of it in the form of a splitting headache rocking through my head.If I closed my eyes, it could feel as if the migraine was getting a bit better. I had two options: stay in bed and let the headache wash through me or get up and look for some Tylenol. As attractive as the first option sounded, I knew that I had things to do today, so lying around doing nothing wasn’t exactly an opti
