PAMELA'S POV“Yes, bitch! That's what you get for stealing my man.” I smirked and sipped my juice after hitting the send option.I glanced at the text over and over again, feeling proud of having been able to dish out double personalities in the twinkle of an eye. I had my legs crossed over a tiny leg stool while scrolling on my phone.Oh, the texts I sent to Priscilla as J.T were not actually from Jack. That was his initials, yes but he has no idea I'm doing this at all. After the flower and jewelry package he sent to her, we took note of the fight it caused between her and Brent and on our way back home from the lair, I suggested to Evelyn that we caused more ruckus between the couple by using Jack's initials.Left to me, I was certain Jack had given up on getting Priscilla. In fact, he merely looks at her like she's not the reason this entire mission started but that's none of my business.I'd sent a text to Brent, using the same initials just to make my alibi concrete and in case

PAMELA’S POVYou're doing a great job, Pamela. I may have underestimated you.” Evelyn said over the phone and I blushed slightly. It didn't take a lot to play out my role in the whole thing because none of it felt like a lie to me. The test kits made it feel even more real to me. “How's he holding up?” I asked with concern. He had sounded really frustrated over the phone and I couldn't help but worry. Evelyn laughed at my question. “Don't tell me you're worried about him. Well, I don't expect you to hate him at least. He's fine, he can take it. It's not like you're taking anything from him, you just have to force your way into his heart and you're getting close. Brent would do anything to keep that scandal a secret and that's the only solution here.” She recited. I sighed, glancing at the door. The memory of when he came to save me from dying by Kent's hand flashed through my mind and I felt guilty a bit. “He doesn't deserve this.” My subconscious pried and I sighed. “I hope you

PAMELA’S POVThe meeting with Sylvester left me feeling awkward by the time I got into the car. The sudden change in his eyes, the way he spoke, the intensity with which he looked at me. Everything about the short meeting felt overwhelming. I did a breathing exercise before driving in. I made a decision to finalize the rest of the deal with him either online or through a representative. All I knew for certain was that I couldn't bear to be alone with him in the same room, not anymore. The drive to Brent's office was more emotionally challenging than I expected and a lot of things contributed to that. Last night, we had a brief conversation about the collaboration but I could read in between the line and something about him seemed off, like something had happened but I couldn't place my hands on it. He also tried to apologize for his mother's actions but I shut it down almost immediately because I didn't want to bring myself to think about it again. I repeated the words I'd say t

PAMELA’S POVI won't lie, since this whole pregnancy thing started, I'd never felt as terrified as I was when Brent threatened to make me disappear without trace. Heck, I knew what he was capable of and if he was still hesitating to get my ass picked up and thrown away, it meant that I had some influence over him. Or Evelyn did. Anyways, I took the easy way out by saying something dramatic before ending the call. I immediately called Evelyn. “I think Brent is getting suspicious of my words. He threatened to have me killed just now.” I let out to her with a sense of fear hanging over my head. My heart was beating so fast and I could almost hear myself breathing. “First, you need to stay calm and stop fretting. He doesn't suspect, he's either crashing out or trying to bait you and make you confess. You need to stand your ground. I'll suggest to him tomorrow to get a test done, then you can put your mind to rest after that.” She assured me with a soothing voice. “I guess that coul

BRENT’S POVI got terrible news from my private investigator and I've been struggling to accept it. I woke up with a heart as heavy as gym equipment. I struggled to believe that someone I'd trusted with my entire life would stab me in the back in such a dangerous manner. The morning was dark and gloomy for me because I just couldn't bring myself to accept the truth. “Are you sure about your research? Will you take some more time to confirm it?” I said. I wanted to avoid the truth by all means if it was inevitable. “No, sir. I've been trailing this person for a while now, I'm very certain it's the truth. There's actually a lot more to be uncovered but this is just to give you basic knowledge of what has been happening right under your nose.” He'd responded. How? Why? When? Several questions bugged my mind at the same time but there was none I could provide answers to. I picked my phone to call Priscilla and reveal the truth to her. I wanted to tell her about Pamela's pregnancy be
