CLAIRE The pack meeting concluded successfully, bringing relief and joy to the members upon seeing their Alpha. Now, I find myself in my office, diligently learning about my responsibilities as the Luna of the pack. While engrossed in a book, a text message notification interrupts my focus. When I check my phone, I notice a message from an unknown number. I unlock my device to read it.Unknown: "Claire, I know I'm the last person you want to hear from, but can we meet? I have something important to discuss."Me: "And who are you?"Unknown: "It's me, Ares. Please, it's crucial. After you hear me out, you can decide how to respond."Me: "How did you get my number? Are you stalking me, Ares? What would Italia think of this?"Unknown: "Trust me, it's about the safety of Alpha Michael's pack and Italia."Me: "Fine. We'll meet at the mall in an hour. But if you say anything I dislike, I'm leaving. Understood?"Unknown: "Agreed."I have no option but to prioritize the safety of the pack an

ARES After much contemplation, I decided to search through Jane's phone for Claire's contact numbers. Fortune smiled upon me as I found them.I saved the numbers to my phone and waited for Jane to leave to meet Ruth before texting Claire.Initially, I thought convincing Claire to meet would be a challenge, but to my surprise, she agreed after a brief conversation. We arranged to meet at the mall, where I expressed everything I needed to say. However, to my astonishment, she insisted that I accompany her to the pack house.I felt a surge of excitement, but then I recalled the painful experiences with Italia's father and Alpha Michael. Claire advised me to focus on Italia, and despite my apprehensions, I agreed to go, fully aware that it could be my last day.Claire briefed everyone about the situation, but I felt compelled to add my own apologies to Italia. Deep down, I knew she might not forgive me, yet I spoke my truth. To my disbelief, she did forgive me. I didn’t feel worthy of su

CLAIRE The following morning, I awoke to an empty space beside me in bed, and a wave of sadness washed over me as I realized my mate, Michael, was not there. This absence made me reflect on how little time we had spent together amidst the chaos surrounding us, and my heart ached for him.I knew I had to take action. Perhaps we could share breakfast or lunch together each day, as waiting for Ruth’s fate to unfold, or for one of us to meet a tragic end, would be my greatest regret.I made my way to the bathroom, adjusting the shower to my preferred temperature, and slipped out of my clothes before stepping in. As the water cascaded over me, my thoughts were consumed by Michael—how his eyes sparkled when he spoke to me, his dazzling killer smile that revealed perfect white teeth, his strong physique, and the overwhelming desire I felt for him.Lost in my thoughts, I began to explore my body, starting with my mark and trailing down to my small breasts. Soft moans escaped my lips as I ima

ALPHA MICHAEL Two weeks have passed since the tumultuous events unfolded.Determining the most effective strategy to eliminate Ruth once and for all proved to be a formidable challenge, particularly due to her unpredictable attacks. On that fateful day, Claire reached her breaking point with her mother, Ruth, who had seemingly grown stronger than ever. I caught a glimpse of horror in Ruth's eyes, but she quickly concealed it.I had longed for the electric power that could vanquish Ruth, yet it struck Jane instead, leaving her utterly unrecognizable, reduced to a state resembling minced meat. Following the devastating blow to Jane, Ruth lost control and declared her intent to return. What my family overlooked was that Jane's demise had rendered Ruth weak, leading to her sudden disappearance. It was indeed true that Jane had sold her soul to Ruth, and upon Jane's death, Ruth lost that very soul, which left her considerably diminished. The aftermath of Ruth's vanishing left chaos in its

CLAIRE Ruth left me unrestrained in the bedroom today, asserting that I must conduct my business in the bathroom and then gather in the kitchen. It was clear that today would be action-packed.I awoke feeling different, almost transformed. There was something peculiar about my appearance, as if an unknown force resided within me. I hurried to the bathroom to examine myself in the mirror. To my shock, my eyes were unlike anything I'd ever seen. My right eye was completely black, with dark veins snaking across my skin, while my left eye was partially black, revealing a dark green hue that suggested I was being consumed by darkness. I cursed myself for my foolish idea of confronting Ruth alone. A strange sensation emanated from my left eye, and I found myself unable to stop thinking about Michael. To my astonishment, my left eye shifted back to a dark green hue.It was then I realized that Michael represented my light, and I could still overcome this darkness within me. As dizziness wa
