Blair's POV “Blair, are you okay?” Clover hurriedly hugged me and I shook my head at her, “What happened?” she looked at me then looked at the door, “Where is Zade?” “Clover, I'm not okay Za…De.. ended every…thing…he…. didn't…give ... .me…any…ring…he.. broke…up…with…me,” I cried in Clover’s arms. Clover rubbed my hair gently and whispered comforting words into my ears, I couldn't understand where I had gone wrong, I had done everything right since I became an adult, so why did he end it? “I ..didn't …. do …anything …wrong, I…don't ....know ...why….he…ended…it..,” I sobbed louder as my heart began to feel numb. Clover excused herself from the living room and came back with a glass of water. I drank it and soon began to feel dizzy. Before I could ask about what was in the water, my eyelids began to feel heavy and I found myself falling into sleep mode. I opened my eyes to a pounding headache, when I remembered what happened yesterday, I jumped down from my bed and bolted to

Ace's POV “How long do you plan on staying here and living this lie?” My best friend and support system, Zion asked. “Zion not now, I'm very tired and would like to rest,” I brushed him off. “You need to make up your mind before January and return home, your family is worried,” Zion sat on the couch inside my room. “Are they really worried or do you just need space from me?” I raised my eyebrows playfully. “Ace, you know it isn't…” “Sir, Sir,” The cleaning lady entered my room without knocking, “You should come see this.” Without thinking twice, Zion and I ran downstairs to see my girlfriend Ziora coming out of my car drunk and the condition of my car was in a terrible state. I balled my hand into a tight fist, I just couldn't stand it anymore, “What happened?” I gritted and glared at her. I just got the car two days ago after she destroyed the former one with a fire extinguisher on purpose. Ziora walked zigzag till she fell on me, “My prince,” she giggled and she

Blair's POV“Maam, we have arrived,” I opened my eyes to the sound of Clover and the driver's voice.I didn't sleep through the whole journey, I watched movies, I watched Tiktok and I looked at the houses as we drove by.I removed my eye mask to see we had arrived at Clover's house, “Don't carry my things with yours,” my sleepy ass said.“I should so you will come to my house sooner,” Clover said playfully as she brought her things down the van.“Whatever,” I rolled my eyes playfully, “I will come to see you once I'm settled in,” I screamed and waved at her as the driver began driving. The town really had the smell of Christmas, each house was well decorated with their families around and the smell of baking filled everything. We arrived at my house in less than ten minutes, me and Ace got out of the car and brought our things along. “Let me do all the talking,” I said to Ace before I knocked on the door. “Aunty Blair!” My little niece opened the door and ran to hug me.“How is my l

Blair's POVI had told Ace not to bring up the matter and he was strictly here to pretend to be my boyfriend and not to interfere in my personal affairs.I had excused myself from the room and came to Thaila's room so Ace wouldn't ask anything.“The way he protected you was so manly,” Thaila praised, “So where did you meet this gentleman?”Ever since I stepped into Thaila's room, she hasn't stopped gushing over Ace. I had never lied to her and even now, I don't plan on lying to her.I avoided looking at her eyes and said, “On the street.”“On the street?” Thalia asked as if she hadn't heard me earlier.“I met him on the street one random night,” A small smile stretched on my face as the event of that night played in my head.“The streets, fair enough, I didn't know you randomly meet those kinds of guys on the street,” Thaila smiled mischievously, “So how long have you both been together? How long have you known each other?”The question I have been treading was finally asked, I didn'

Blair's POVI spent days thinking of the word Ace made that morning, Who really was he? I hope I didn't make a mistake.“Blair,” I looked at my cousin whose voice brought me out of my own world and she seemed pissed for some reason.“What?” I asked innocently, I wondered when she arrived here.“What? I have been calling you for the past thirty minutes,” She said, I looked down at my phone and saw multiple missed calls.“I'm sorry,” I apologized.“What else is on the list?” She said, clearly irritated, I was about to give her the list when she dragged it off my hand and walked away.Today was Christmas Eve, and we were shopping to decorate the house, we normally do it before time but today it was late, and not the whole family was around.I rested my head on my legs as my hand found its way to my tummy, it had been hurting a lot, “We need to talk,” I raised my head when I heard Zade's voice.“Talk about what?” I managed to say.“About that bastard that you brought home,” Zade said and
