Chapter 340Outside the Entrance of the hospital: Syncere's head was hurting, because there was so many things running through his mind. It made him feel like he would pass out at any moment. He needed to get out of there he needed fresh air in order to unpack everything he just learned. His parents has lied to him his entire life, everything he thought was his life wasn't. He just couldn't understand why they kept it a secret for so long. He got that it was a different time and he knew how his mom's parents were, they were far worse than how his mom is now. He always admired his dad for his loyalty to his mom, and how honest and dedicated he was as a father. But it was all a lie, he cheated on his mother and had a baby. Then he abandoned his own flesh and blood and allowed his sister to raise his child, because he was too much of a coward to stand up to his grandparents. Syncere got what Essence said earlier, that he and his father's situations were similar, but he

My name is Thomellia Rachelle Jamison.

Chapter 341Outside the entrance of the hospital: “Well I guess I can go first. My name is Thomellia Rachelle Jamison.” Melli said looking her baby brother in the eyes whose eyes widened. “You have our last name?” “Yes, my aunt decided to use her last name since my dad was her brother and they both shared the last name. My middle is my moms first name.” Melli said looking at her little brother. Syncere looked at his sister, he studied her face closely, he spotted their similarities. It was like an invisible blind fold was taken off his eyes. They looked so much alike, he didn't know how he didn't see it right away. I know that look, that is the shock of seeing how much we look alike.” “I watched your races, and I never even thought about us being related. “I know dad telling you everything all at once, feels like your head is going to explode.” “You call him dad?” “Yea I call him dad, him and my aunt told me who he was when I was eight. They told me that he had

Visiting Anthony and Leah!

Chapter 342Visiting Anthony and Leah: The girls were just getting on the elevator, pressing the number where Anthony and Leah were being held. When Essence found out Anthony was in a coma she was so shocked and upset that she walked toward the elevator. Her focus was getting to Anthony, the man who risked his life trying to save her. When she reached the elevator, her baby decided to remind her that she was hungry, because they were running on fumes at this point. So Essence made a U-turn and hit the cafeteria; as soon as she saw the menu she immediately ordered too much food. She had so much food that all the girls had to help her carry it. Once they got their food they headed up to the floor where Anthony and Leah were on. Essence was eating the entire time, apparently the baby was super hungry. At least that's the excuse Essence was using and she dared anyone else to say otherwise. “We were put in here after a woman who called herself the financial Director and so

Visiting Anthony and Leah! Continued

Chapter 343 Visiting Anthony and Leah continued: “That's doctor Green, the guy who brought us up here. It looks like he's been busy and couldn't come back and check on Anthony or Leah. The police haven't shown up either, what I don't understand is, why we're all being put in this room. I know that hospitals have rooms where multiple people are in a room but when patients are really sick they could be in the ICU.” Maya said as she peeped around the curtain. “Hey yall, eyes wide shut Leah, is doing something with her eyes. I thought her body couldn't move. Well she looks like she got the shakes.” Kymoni said backing even further away from Leah. “Damn she heard her best friend is in trouble and she's trying to come out of whatever the hell she's got going on.” Nyasia said, looking at Leah who was shaking uncontrollably. “Hey, call a nurse in here, something is wrong!” Nyasia said in a panic. Maya pushed the curtain back revealing everyone. Doctor Green looked up in shock,

Isn't it my turn to finally be happy?

Chapter 344Before the blackoutThe operating room: “We have a female approximately in her late forties to early fifties, gunshot wound to the chest. She's lost a lot of blood, do we know her blood type yet?” “Yes, doctor her siblings said her blood type is Rh-null, and none of her siblings is a match, and her sons don't have the same blood type.” “Shit do we have any in this god forsaken hospital. It never fails that something always happens at the end of my shift, so I shouldn't be shocked that my patient has Rh-null blood type, the rarest blood type that can't even use the universal blood type.” The doctor said as he and his team cut away her clothes to expose her wound. “Doctor the blood bank said they don't have any Rh-null blood on hand.” The nurse said once she came back to the operating room. “I need someone to get on the phone and call the other hospitals to see if they have her blood type. We need to remove this bullet before it moves and damages her other organs.

Before the black out!

Chapter 345Before the Black outWaiting Room: “Alright everyone, Although I'm sure that everyone knows who I am, but if not, my name is Attorney General Karla Jamison. Director Waters is no longer on this case. I have to go through the files and the notes to see exactly what she was working on. Any deal she made will be honored if possible. I want to get each person's statements. I would rather do that now, so I won't have to call each of you to my office.” First things first my agents will escort the prisoners to our van that's waiting out front to transport to the airport and back to Washington.” Karla said, looking at the Taylors. “Wait a minute, you can't just take us, our daughter is being worked on. We don't know what's wrong with her, we have done everything that was asked of us, all we want is to make sure our daughter is ok.” Judge Taylor said, pleadingly. “As soon as we learn something from the doctor working on her, one of our men will make sure you know

Still before the blackout!

Chapter 346 Still before the blackout:Still in the Waiting room: "Mom, hearing everything you've done to me, my sister, my dad, my girl, and your grandchild. You don't understand that the baby Essence is carrying is your blood, dad's blood, but most importantly your son's blood, you know the son you claim to love more than anything. Even if you get out I don't know if we will ever be able to get our relationship back. You better hope that Essence has a forgiven heart, but whatever she decides when it comes to us and our child's life I will support and respect her choice.” Syncere said to his mother his eyes watering because he has never thought of a life without his mother, but she wasn't the same person who raised him. Or maybe she was this evil person all the time, but hid it well. He didn't know and he didn't have time to dwell on it. He looked around and saw that Essence wasn't in the room. “Dad, did they come and get Essence? Shawn was supposed to let me know if

Searching for Essence and Kymoni!

Chapter 347In the hospital waiting room: “You don't understand, my girl is pregnant and injured, we don't know where she is. You have to let us go and see if we can find her, she has always been the target. So we need to find her and make sure she's safe.” Syncere said to his aunt, he knew they didn't know each other, but he wasn't afraid to beg if that meant he was able to go and find Essence. Karla looked at her nephew, she hated that he was asking her to do something that she didn't think was a good idea. She knew that if she told him no and something happened to his girlfriend and his baby, he would blame her even if she made the right choice. She also couldn't put him in danger, she had never spent time with him. So to have all this happen right when everything was out in the open sucked. She was hoping that they could get to know each other. She looked back at the girl's family as they loaded their weapons, their focus was on finding their niece and her friend; go

I'm trying not to cuss you out!

Chapter 348Anthony and Leah's Room: “So what's the plan, we can't stay in here, we'll be sitting ducks.” Maya said as she paced the floor. The nurses that were helping Doctor Green had run outta the room as soon as the doctor was put down. They had heard screams some floors down, they automatically knew it was the nurses that left the room. “They will be coming to this floor to look for you guys. How about we get to the morgue, they wouldn't think anyone would go there. We get down there and place the injured in the freezer. We can go get help, we will cut the freezer off and leave it unlocked.” Nyasia said, her eyes lighting up as she looked at everyone. She looked at Essence waiting for her to agree. “So does anyone have some kind of plan?” Essence said ignoring Nyasia because she was sure her injury had her hallucinating. “What, I just gave you a great plan, didn't you hear me?” Nyasia said, looking at her strangely. “Yea, I heard you, I'm just trying not to cuss

So we're going to be bait.

Chapter 349Hospital parking lot in a van: Shawn groaned, his head pounding like someone was hitting him in the head with a sledgehammer. He thought he groaned softly, but it sounded like he was yelling loudly. “Oh thank God son you're awake, she hit you pretty hard, we have been trying to wake you for the last ten minutes. We were starting to worry that she may have caused some kind of brain injury.” Susan said as she cried. Her and her husband's hands were tied behind them but Shawn's hands were tied in front of him, since he was knocked out they didn't bother. “What happened, how did we get in the back of this van?” Shawn asked as he sat up still feeling dazed trying to piece together what happened. “It was Briana, I don't know what she has gotten herself into, but it's bad, it's really bad. She says she was locking us in here to protect us.” Susan said shaking her head, she was so disappointed in her right now, she would have never thought that Briana, her Bri,
