Chapter 350Back in the hospital: “Listen she only has three more floors before she is on the roof and realize that we're not up there. We still have eight floors to clear. At some point she is going to know where we are. We just have to be as quick and as quiet as we can. I say we try to clear two floors this go around, either we will make it or we will be spotted. Either way we have no choice but to try.” Essence said as she peaked over Kekoe's shoulder. “That's easy for you to say when you're not the one running down these damn steps.” Kymoni said huffing and puffing like she was going to pass out. This was the fourth floor they made it too. They were nearly at the top floor of the hospital already so the people after them only had seven floors. “Yall ready?” Essence said calling the shots from her comfortable spot on Kekoe's back. Kymoni wanted to push her down the stairs at this point. She knew she couldn't and even though the stairs might kill her before Shaw

Chapter 352The Electrical Control Room: “They fucked up the entire electrical systems, they made sure to cut wires and pull them out, they gutted this entire room. I'm afraid we're stuck in the dark, this is far beyond anything I can do. The only thing we can do, is make sure the generators are untouched, make sure they maintain the power until you guys can get control of the hospital again. I'll make sure that no one touches those generators.” Martrice said into his ear piece, once he and Kain entered the hospital's electrical control room. Kain had insisted on coming with him to help. The family wouldn't allow him to go with them because it was too dangerous and he was injured badly no matter how much he tried to make it seem like it was just a flesh wound. Then on top of that no one said anything to their uncle who got shot. Partly because they were afraid of him even with a bullet wound, and you wouldn’t care even if they did say something. So Kain decided he

Chapter 354The Deal: “Damn them motha fuckas not trying to give up, how long can the twins hold that damn door?” Kymoni asked as she looked at the twins who had their feet to the opposite side of the wall between the mattress’s desks stacked on top of one another. After they had built the barricade, the twins told them to build another one at the end of the hall, just in case that stairwell door finally gave out. They would all run down the hall and barricade that and then run into the room farthest away and barricade themselves in, hoping that someone would be there to get them outta there by then. “I don't know but I wish my family would speed it up.” Essence said as she sat in the wheelchair Jazz was using while she was out. She had taken Leah and went into one of the rooms refusing to help. Now that she was awake, she was acting like they had kidnapped her. That's when they heard Briana tell someone to keep them from coming up, the girls got excited knowing t

Chapter 356 “What do you see? Do we have an advantage?” Kristian asked as he and Big C snuck up behind them. They all jumped up ready to fight to the death, When Kymoni saw how it was she started laughing. Essence got up from her chair slowly, and went to her big brother wrapping her arms around him and began to cry. “Hey, stop all that crying. You know damn well we were going to find you.” Kristian said as he hugged Kymoni. “Yea but what took yall so long, that I was just we Thought we were going to have to bring fist to a gun fight. Now just get us out of here so I can't kill that bitch.” Kymoni said, wiping her teary eyes. “I hate to break up your family reunion, but I don't think your boyfriend's plan worked out the way he wanted it to.” Kekoa said after he heard Briana have one of her men bring Shawn to her. “What? What do you mean?” Kymoni said as she broke away from Kristian, and made her way back to the door to listen. “Briana, you have to stop this, if yo

Chapter 358 “WE NEED TO MOVE NOW! WE GET OFF ON THE NEXT FLOOR DOWN. WE WILL BE SITTING DUCKS IF WE STAY IN HERE, WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO DEFEND OURSELVES.” Big C said as he picked up his pace. He was nervous now, his sister was already injured and the baby is probably already stressed and tired of their entire family. He couldn't let anything happen to her, all this was his idea, he didn't want to fail her or his niece. Essence since Big C's mood change, his face always told on him and how he was feeling. He didn't think so but we all knew how to read the signs. Essence put up a fuss and was scared as hell that they were going to fall to their deaths, but she trusted her big brother. He was the closest she had to a dad, and he knew it also so he always made sure that all his siblings saw him as someone they could admire. Essence squeezed him tighter, “I'm glad you came for me, I don't know if I would have made it without knowing you were going to walk through hell to fin
