The next day, news channels distributed all kinds of stories available for creativity. They crushed a lot of our personalities, showed me and him as a failed couple, and whatnot. We stood strong, however. We weren't the ones to dwindle against such a small breeze.Aaron was getting ready for his work again. Today, he stands proud and meets with many eminent businessmen to discuss a lot of things."Bye, love. I'll get something for us today.""No, I forbid you. After two years, I've finally learned how to cook and you want me not to put my skills to use? Let's not do that." Saying, I kiss his cheek and watch him leave. I take a deep breath in. The mansion is however a lonely place with us two living here. When he left, there was loneliness lingering around every corner of the house.I sigh, I shall engage myself in a few errands and get to work too. After a while in the afternoon, I get a call from my studio to visit the new scene. I agree. I was free as hell anyway.Reaching there on

We reach, I think in a record time of 8 hours to the international airport of India. It was so fleur with colors all over the airport shopping stations already. I personally loved the scenery, it was mind blowing.I wanted to shop everything that was vibrant to my eye, but I know owning a lot all at once is going to kill my need to visit the country again and again. We were escorted by Mr. Javed's team personally. He's invited us to a guest mansion of his in the city. The lights of festivity was blinding me. I was reminded of the liveliness of Aaron's town, two years ago."Hello, young man!" Aaron drops his bags to be embraced by the lovely, tall and tan Indian man. His family was behind him as the wife draped in a neat long fabric called the 'saree', joins both her hands to her chin to greet me. I mimic the greetings technique, I personally don't think I live under the rock."Hello, Mr. Javed. Thank you so much for having us at such short notice. My girlfriend wished to have travelle

Investigator Ms. Smyers reads our reaction. I almost tumble the chair backwards with the force I get up. Charlie and Gerroto stand amongst the many guards while I run towards them."It's going to be a little tough to accept a few things." I say to them.Their concerned faces look at me, but I sense Aaron approaching."Let's go take some rest and then discuss everything over som alcohol." His huge arms on our shoulders as he speaks and we agree right away.It turns evening from afternoon quickly. We were assembled at the drinkers' corner to enjoy the drinks and be depressed over everything."Good evening folks! Now, I shall tell you why we're all assembled here." Aaron takes the centre seat as he announces to us four. I look around and see many guards stationed around the hall, hidden under the shadows."Yeah, it's not everyday that a rich businessman wants to mingle with common folk like us! Tell us, Aaron. We're dying to know." Charlie teases the businessman... without knowing his ba

We sat up straight. While rubbing my eyes to see clearly through the blurriness, I see Gabriella along with two servants who carry plates with them. How thoughtful of her, I was flattered. But what motivated her to realize that we went to sleep without dinner? Also, it was merely one dinner that we skipped.Wait, is she planning to kill us? Is there poison in there?Coming to think of the poison, the little bolts of poison capsules were still laid out on the table. It was open for viewing. Shit. I was so careless.I pray they don't on the lights and notice the five little stranger objects on the table. I pray they will leave us be.Somehow, Gabriella turns around and begins to leave after setting the plates on the ground for us. I scoffed behind her. She thinks we are her dogs."I'm not eating charity food. I'll sleep without it." I say to Charlie."Me too. What the fuck do they think about themselves? It's not like we will die without it or something." Says Charlie. Indeed, we both c

Panicking, we all began to take cover under the sturdiest places. We went back into the stage, hiding below it. As the rubble settles, Ms. Smyers immediately calls for backup to help us swim out of the three storeyed building that collapsed.I was honestly in shock, but having Aaron and his team here made me feel a little less scared. He held me close to his chest, whispering and talking everything to calm me down. He knows I've been through shit, that I had a chance of relapsing into my PTSD. I had to prevent that and take any measures possible.Soon enough, we were fished out of the depths. There was enough air trapped for us to breathe for fifteen minutes. I was glad we were alive. But then Gary was found dead.He was soulessly crushed by the debris and I felt bad for the family. I turn to look at Aaron who's lost all sense of morality against his cousin."Don't look at it. Come on. Gabriella and John are still alive." I say to Aaron, to get him moving. We check the nearby building
