A Contract Marriage With The Billionaire’s Mad Son のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 231 - チャプター 240

My chamber was empty and lonely as light in an open space. Although I was inside, yet it seemed as though I wasn’t. How was I sure Brian was still alive? The doctor had told me he purchased the units of oxygen Brian used for the two days before calling on me, but how sure was he?He could have told me a lie. My husband could be dead and he could just shield it with lies just to ensure I wouldn’t break down. I saw unpredictable misery on the face of the doctor the last time I visited the hospital and regrettably he didn’t show me my husband.“Hello who is here? Melissa! Melissa! Are you there?” that was the voice of Eva after she shut the door to my chamber.I was buried in the web of agony and endless tears in my chamber. Where would I get money for Brian’s oxygen? Already the thirty thousand dollars on Eva’s credit card which I saved off shopping on dress had been given to the doctor to buy more oxygen units.“Melissa! Oh my God! What happened to you? Why are you all tears?” Eva clut

Eva was having a quiet cocktail drink by the pool when one of the servants hastened to her side, bowed to her and said, “Ma’am your father demand you come to the penthouse with immediate effect. He wants to have some words with you.”Eva was down in the deeps, her face was lacking luster. Right about now she was ready to blow hot at anybody and put them where they belonged. They had done the most unexpected thing to her and in retaliation she had done the worst unexpected thing which was the reason Fanny demanded to see her.At first she didn’t want to respond to the servant but for the fact that it was a servant she said, “Now you listen, “ she replied , the servant, “Go up there and tell my father I am too busy to be disturbed. Now move it!”she ordered and continued sipping her cocktail with impunity. The servant did not only shake her head in refusal, she went on her knees, “Please ma’am you know I can’t go on such errands. He is not just your father, he is my boss. He will get me

“Eva has withdrawn her trust fund and that of Brian. I just got back from then bank and the accountant confirmed it to me,” Kate said to Opula who was done with her make-over and then decided to attend to herself after dismissing her costumier.Opula was in micro polka dotted Italian gown and light make over. Before her were boxes of diamond jewelry and bottles of body spray and perfumes. Tactically, she got herself ready for tonight‘s date with Rod, hoping to announce her pregnancy to the billionaire’s son.She had barely paid attention to Kate’s discussion about Eva and she wished she could just tell Kate to keep shut and watch her get dressed up; she had never been so nervous and uncertain and she knew her fate was going to be fulfilled tonight , either good or bad ,“Oh really?” Opula had managed to respond to Kate and that had been her reply for over a minute now.Kate shook her head, “Yeah, father gave me the directive to have her credit card and that of Brian blocked but the s

Once Opula said that and saw the glistening smile on the face of Rod, she loosened up from her focus and appreciated the fact that Rod was expecting some good news that sounded like pregnancy.“Oh what could that be? I just hope it is some business deal. You know recently my father signed joint partnership with some Bahamas tycoons.” Rod said, lit up a cigar to smoke, “I hope you don’t mind,” he sook for permission to smoke and continued, “It is a hundred and fifty billion dollar deal.”Being a woman that craved for wealth so much, Opula almost yelled in shock upon hearing that amount of money but she said in her mind, “Oh my goose. When I finally become his wife, we will control all these wealth. Oh can he just keep shut and let me announce this pregnancy to him?”Rod said yet further, “So you see the reason I came late. I had to clear my table attending to clients and signing shares’ documents,” he said in a breath and added, “So what is it you have to tell me?”Opula dragged a ner

“I sent for you and the servant said you were very much busy so I decided to come to you. I just want you to be witness to what I am about to do to Eva. She debited her credit card and that of Brian and emptied it of the trust funds in them. I am opening a case against Eva,” Fanny said furiously to Opula. Not until Opula raised her gaze and said, “Eva did what,” That Fanny noticed her swollen eyes which were traceable to endless weeping at night.“What happened to you, my love?” Fanny asked and surged close to investigate her swollen eyes, “Have you not been sleeping at night. Your eyes are swollen. You have been crying, it is evident in your teary cold cheeks.”Opula didn’t want to talk about it now and she wished she could conjure lies to confuse her father. She had made mistakes in the past which were hunting her now. If only she could turn back the hands of time to fifteen years ago when Rod needed her loyalty, comfort and love. Everything Rod mentioned was true. It was still cle
