Dear Ex, Your Father Is My Mate のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

- Zeba -My heart began to fail me, remembering all the desires and wishes I had towards Franklin and how I wouldn't want to give that all away was worth fighting for.I had never felt for any man the way I felt for him and I doubted if I would ever be able to find any. Despite my hurt, I let down my ego and tried to talk him into seeing reasons with me."Franklin..." I called softly. "I don't know what to do and I have never cried for a man nor feel the way I do. This is going to break me forever. I need you to know how much I love and care about you. I need you to know I haven't been with any man because you have always been the one I wanted. I might not have told you before now, and that's probably the mistake I made, but I was just disciplined as much as you were not to bring emotions into our relationship. All that I did because I did not want to lose you.""Zeba..."I even thought you did not want a soft and feminine woman because you are tough so me talking about my feelings wi

- Giselle -I was in a state of shock for a few seconds, trying to get myself."Are you okay?" Franklin asked with concern in his eyes as he placed a hand on my face. I nodded slowly."Come on, I told you all will be fine. You've got to trust me, okay? All will be fine. Let's go."I was barely listening to him. Cold shivers ran down my spine as the memory came down to me. What the hell is going on? And why am I seeing this now? I began to wonder if my mental health was okay or if there was something behind this that Xavier was not telling me.Could it be that I was thinking too much? I wanted to ask him who Odessa was and if she had any connection with him, as I see in what seems to be my imagination, but there was no time. The Lords were already in the palace and waiting. Franklin dragged me slowly along because my feet felt like jelly. The entire palace, if not the entire pack, was still and quiet with fear. I, in particular have never met the Rulers of the origin.I have heard of

- Franklin -Bloody hell!I swore under my breath as I closed the door. I shouldn't have expected any better from Frederick. Of course, he would use this situation to his advantage.I and Frederick have been sworn enemies for years. My father and his father passed the enmity to us, and even after their death, it kept on, and Frederick seemed to carry on with twice as much energy. He'd never liked me and took everything I did as a competition. I barely cared about his existence, but he was always in my face.Good for him; he became a Lord before me, and I can only imagine how much his ego is massaged by that."I hope you are not so dumb to think this matter will go by just like that," he told me as the Lords prepared to leave. "Lord Rego might claim it's fine, but believe me when I tell you it isn't.""Let me worry about that," I replied to him with a shrug, unbothered. "You are not in the place to because this is no concern of yours. You don't care what happens to me. And you are not

- Giselle -The morning sun reflected on my face and I closed my eyes briefly, allowing my skin to feel the warmth of its rays.A smile crept up my face when the only thing that replayed in my head was the previous night's events.Franklin's body against mine, the rhythm of his movements and the ecstasy. Everything flashed back like it happened just now."And I wonder what is giving you so much Joy in the morning? Perhaps, the thought of shamelessly being with my father?" An annoying voice disrupted my moment, and I opened my eyes with a frown to behold Xavier."You know it baffles me how you are fine and okay with what you did. You are not even remorseful for your actions.""Now why should I?" I replied. "I don't feel anything as long as you are concerned. It's the same thing you felt when you slept with Kira.""I know you are doing all these things because you want to get back at me and not because you love my father. There's no possibility of a bond between the two of you and you w

- Kira -I let out a light scream when I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. No...this cannot be what I think it is. It mustn't be.The pain increased, and I slid down to the ground."What's happening to her?" Someone asked."Don't stand there asking questions, quick, let's take her to the hospital," the urgency in the chief Maid's voice confirmed my fear."Please don't tell me it's my baby," I cried out despite the pain. They did not say anything but helped me up."Get me the prince," I said. "Please get me, Xavier."Fear gripped me to death when the bleeding became more serious and intense. The last thing I saw was Maria standing in a corner with her hands over her chest with the same fear written all over her face.- Giselle -There was something off about the drink Kira offered to me though I could not tell what it was but my instincts greatly told me so and I listened to it.Before she passed me the drink, I tried using whatever power I might possess to exchange the contents in both
