3RD POV:AN HOUR LATER:While Selena was getting ready for the surprise party, the girls had planned for her, Henry was at work late, reviewing a few documents that needed his approval, re-reading the new contracts set before him, testing out the new gadgets as overheating was outrightly controlled and he had worked personally with the workers in the production team to ensure it was all in check and the marketing department had thought it would be an amazing idea if one of the top media spaces in the world, Togue, had come with him for a day in his life and take a few pictures. The marketing team of his company thought it would be a great way to start since the entire world adored how handsome he was and were curious about him.“Would you need me to order something for you sir?” His assistant, Lisa, inquired and he looked up for the first time in hours realizing how dark it was and how much time had passed. This is just how I was like before I got married to Selena. He said to himself

SELENA’S POV:HER BIRTHDAY:“Thank God, you’re up. Happy birthday love.” She stretched out her hands for an embrace and I stood up going to hug her, amazed by her warmth. The tension which was thick, soon dropped m,“Thank you.”I appreciated pulling away from her and she took a seat on the bed, unlocking her phone.“I have two things to share and they are both not so exciting things to share and I don’t know which to share first.” She said and I really wasn’t even surprised, so I told her, “Just go with the easier one.”“Okay, at noon we are supposed to be at court because the judge has reached a decision.” She began and I nodded slowly.“Alright, and the other news?” I inquired and she rose to her feet.“Henry got stuck at …..” She was still speaking when I raised my hand up and stopped her.“I really don’t want to hear anything about him if you don’t mind. Plus I’d like to rest for a while.” I said to her and she stood up looking at me with concern.“Are you okay?” She asked, and I

SELENA’S POV:“Oh…and this must be the great husband.” David stared at him from head to toe and so did Sandra. They were analyzing him and I didn’t even care anymore. I was puzzled but I knew even from way earlier that it couldn’t be either of them, they were too frugal to spend that amount of money on their enemies just to cause trouble or to taunt.Henry gave me a kiss on my forehead and I took in his sweet strong scent and he glanced back at them and David took upon himself and introduced himself to Henry, “Her ex-husband and proudly your future business partner if we can put this aside.”“I doubt it partner because I doubt you would even own a company in the nearest future.” Henry pointed out and I giggled, leaning into his embrace on the lower part of my back.David excused himself to answer a call and we were about to leave when Sandra pointed out saying, “You really married the man of my dreams and you think things will just go smoothly, don’t you? I’d just take him away from y

SELENA’S POV:A WEEK LATER:“Good morning.” I heard as soon as I opened my eyes and I stretched taking in the bright rising sun. It was another day, another morning to get up the bed and do something productive despite the fact that all I wanted to do was lay in bed and watch a movie with Hailey but that couldn’t work because I had so much work to do. Last night, my assistant had run down all I needed to do. There were about three virtual meetings I had to attend and at least two were very vital for For Monica stores, one with the bank and Mrs Yolanda as well as with the board members who had a long list of concerns I and a few others had to listen to and provide solutions. I sat up straight, glancing at the time by my bed stand and it dawned on me that I only had an hour and a half before my first meeting by 9 a.m.I shot up so quickly and smiled seeing Henry just seated up straight resting on the head board with a book in his hands but his eyes were fixated on me.“Good morning.”

SELENA’S POV:“Do you think Mummy is just going crazy or was she truly the person who sent Mummy all those gifts?” I asked Hailey, as she sucked out of the grape I was feeding to her.I stuffed my mouth with grape as well as I thought and looking around, the lady had disappeared.Amber Quinn….*************A FEW HOURS LATER:It had been about two hours and a half since I met Amber Quinn and she had already texted me. While I dressed up for dinner we were having with Ace, just trying to get to know him and find out what he wanted to talk to Henry about, I wanted to talk to Henry about what had transpired at the park, how I felt about that woman and my new plan for a charity or foundation, and most importantly, Amber Quinn. However, Henry returned back from his meeting later than expected and it was just as Ace and I took a seat making awkward small talks, that Henry finally arrived.“I’m so sorry. I’m late.” He kissed me on her cheek abruptly, and I caught a whiff of an expensive fema
