As I was halfway through curling my hair, a text from Luca popped up on my phone, instantly bringing a smile to my face. He wrote that he couldn't wait to see me tonight.I quickly replied, saying the same thing and thanking him for the flowers. He got flowers for me today- that’s two days in a row. Texting back, I set my phone aside to finish getting ready. It's our second date, and I'm pretty sure it's a picnic because he suggested I wear a sundress or something casual. I've never been on a picnic date before, so I'm really excited. My sundress is on, my shoes are ready, and I'm wearing the earrings Courtney lent me. She's incredibly excited about my date with Luca, I guess she really wants that double date to happen. Speaking of double date, Kenzie and Courtney are seriously in love. They want to move in together and are planning this whole future thing together. It’s so adorable. As I continue to curl my hair, I couldn't help but think about how great my last date with Luca was

After Luca ditched me, I took an Uber back to my dorm. I'm so confused as to why he left suddenly. Was something wrong? I could tell something was up with the way his expression shifted when he got a text but I just can’t figure out what exactly and why he didn’t say anything. I’ve been thinking about this for the past couple of hours and nothing seems to make sense. Not the sudden shift of energy and definitely not the fact that he left me at the beach alone by that hour of the day. I changed to my usual nightie, laid on my bed while staring at my phone screen waiting for a text from Luca that will explain everything but nothing came. Two hours passed and still nothing. "Something's bad is going on with Luca," Milan said."It seems like it, but I’m not very sure. I mean, he could have messaged about it, but he did. He could have dropped me back at the dorm, but he didn’t. He just cut the date short like he did last time, which makes me wonder if.…""Aaron is right?" She askedI w

"Thanks for coming," I said"No problem, so what’s up!" He asked. I texted Noah to meet me at the cafeteria. I was going crazy trying to figure out who Meara is, so I decided to call the only person I know who's close to Luca and might know something about Meara. "I... um... I want to ask you something?" I mumbled."Sure, what's up? You seem tense, is everything alright?" He asked, leaning forward."Yes, everything is good, I just have something in mind, and I really hope what I’m about to say isn’t going to be weird.""Oh no, did Luca do something? What now?""No, he didn't... well, he did, but it's different.""Okay." He said, sensing my hesitation I took a deep breath before continuing, "I want to know if Luca has ever mentioned anyone named Meara.""Meara?" He questioned."Yes, do you have any idea who she is?""No, I don't think so. I've never heard that name before.""Oh," I sighed, disappointed."Why are you asking, though?" "It’s kinda complicated, but it’s about Luca.""D

The wind blows through me as I lean against the bench watching the sky. I feel empty, broken and alone. My conversation with Luca kept replaying in my head making everything worst than it’s meant to be.My heart sank as I took a deep breath. A single tear rolled down my cheek. Am I really that cursed? That blind? Is that impossible to love? Maybe I am. But why does the universe keep rubbing it in—reminding me again and again that while not all men are cruel, the ones I trust always are?I really thought Luca would be better than anyone I’ve ever met. I thought that he actually likes me and even though I never thought of a future with him, I love to think that he’ll be in my future.I sighed heartedly, letting my head drop as a single tear ran down my cheek. "Are you okay?" Aaron said from behind me. I turned away and quickly wiped my tears while nodding "Yes I am." My voice was barely above a whisper. "Are you sure? You seem really… um," He began, trailing off as the words slipped

~ AARON’S POV"Please tell me you’ve got all the things I need to prove he’s guilty," I said to Luke as I walked into the building."I can’t say that because I haven’t checked the footage yet but I’m sure it will be of good." He replied.I made my way back to Crystal palace last night because I needed as much evidence as possible against Luca. Even though things with him and Bella are clearly not going good, I needed to have something stronger to hold him back from her and evidence against him will just do well.I walked into the office and sat behind my desk. I opened my laptop and started searching for the footage. "Are you sure is this of Luca? I don’t want to waste my time on something stupid." I said scrolling through my laptop "Yes, it’s definitely of him." He replied "How did you get this footage anyway?""The pack members stalked him. From his movements in the city to his moment back to Moon Lit Pack.""Hold on, he’s back?" I asked completely shocked "Yes, he’s back. For s
