Leila felt lightheaded as she woke up, she remembered nothing. The room was empty and she could feel a sharp pain in her head when she tried standing up. She looked down and she was wrapped in just the duvet, she tried remembering how she removed her clothes when she was just talking to the moving guys but her head was blank, her phone was buzzing with messages, she unlocked it to see several angry texts from Gavin. The morning sickness had begun and it was not getting any easier, Leila walked hurriedly to the bathroom to throw up, she could not understand how it was so hard and complicated to bring a child into the world. Children were cute and all but birthing them did not come in an easy way. She rubbed her tummy and looked into the mirror, Gavin had still not talked to her. Leila smiled before taking a deep breath. One thing about her was how she always took her time to rest when it was due, the past week had been hectic and she could not even think of one thing that happened, she just knew it was a busy one for her and even though it passed by like a blur, she still felt the aftermath and oh, it was not a sweet thing. Leila felt a little nervous about seeing Adele Cooper. Honestly, she had no idea what she was going to say when she saw her. She did not think it through before texting her yesterday. Gavin had slept over at hers the previous night and she lied to him that she had to go in to work early. She hated that she had to lie to him but he did not have to know anything. It was strictly between the both women, Gavin had turned to a bone that they were both dragging and it needed to end. They were both bringing kids into the world for him and it would be crazy if they could not work things out before the arrival of the children. She had taken his car because he did not like her using public transportation now that she was pregnant, so she did not argue.
