ARYA“RUN.” My wolf yelled inside of my head and somehow, her voice made it so difficult for me to give up even though my knees were threatening to give out. Chapter 2 ARYA “What kind of joke is this?” Alaric thundered, his face red with anger as he exchanged glares with the guy on the throne. “My lord, there's a messenger for you. Chapter 3LYCAN KING KAI“Under attack?” Aya still stared at me with shock, probably dazed by the fact that I was her mate. I had found out the instant I saw her but she had been unable to recognize because there were still traces of wolf's bane in her blood but somehow, her entire facial expression amused me.“Yes, my Lord. ALPHA KAI. "What the hell?" I cursed under my breath as I stared at her motionless and lifeless body laying in the centre of the pool. ALPHA KAI“I guess this meeting has to be postponed. Someone fetch Bria.” I called out and they nodded almost immediately as the guard sprinted out of the hall.“And something else, I don't want the main pack members to hear of this. ALPHA KAI "What the hell?" I muttered under my breath as her eyelashes fluttered a bit like someone who was about falling asleep. The gag is, she's supposed to be dead. ARYA There was movements in the room after Alpha Kai had left but I tried to stay still, laying without making a single sound to know exactly what Bria was up to. Somehow, I had made it! From a little I had gathered, I stabbed myself and had thrown myself into the pool but the only thing I couldn't place my hands on was why I would want to take my own life. Take it or leave it from me but I haven't exactly seen a tough situation that would make me want to take my own life with my own hands. "You should really die, you know?" ARYA It turned sharply to the door which was now wide open with Kai standing there, trying to decipher the situation as he stared back and forth between I and Bria. "What's going on here?" He finally asked after a few moments of silence and I wasn't even sure how to react or respond. "I don't know," Bria started sobbing, her eyes brimming with tears while underneath it was red and puffy, only the goddess knows how much she must have had to fake the tears to be able to perfect it this way, "I was just laying by her side and she suddenly sprang up and attacked me." Lycan King Kai I know she was a weird person but this level of madness was on a whole new level. I wasn't so sure but I knew that something definitely had to be wrong with her brain.
