FAITH Fingertips trailing over my arm made me stir, and my eyes fluttered open as a small smile crossed my lips. Sparks danced over my skin until I realized who was causing them, and my smile fell. The blissful feeling of sleep vanished as I found Kaiden lying on his side with his head propped up on one hand as he examined my bruised and swollen shoulder. They were both like that, and it had been hard to move them, but the healer had given me an excellent pain medication intended for wolves, which hit me harder than either of us had expected.
