Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Beta's Human Mate: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Peyton Williams"Again" my father sighs. Bodie and I get back into position, and once we were good to go I instantly tackled him to the ground. I'm able to pin him pretty quick, because he's tired and weak. Well that's harsh but the truth. We're in pack training right now, and my father, the beta of the Blue Moon Pack, is in charge. Our Alpha, Dallas, is in a meeting. And his son, my best friend Nolan, is shadowing him. Once we're about done fighting, my father clamps my shoulder. "Good, need some footwork, but you did good" his lips curl slightly, and that's how my father says he's proud.I nod, pulling my t-shirt on my sweaty body. "I will work on it with Nol. He needs some extra practice, he said" my father nods, and he starts the walk back to the pack house. We don't live in it, but we train here. Our pack house is pretty big, but no one really leaves here but the Alpha and his family. We usually eat most meals here though, and all of our houses are in the gated community. Most pe

Peyton Williams"I can't believe you messaged him '' I mumbled, laying back in Sam's bed shaking my head. She lets out a huff, and plops down on the bed beside me."I can't believe you ignored him all day. '' She looks up at her ceiling, then over to me.''It's okay yano. To have a male mate" she says softly, although it doesn't help. I didn't make it into the building after I was confused that Zeke is my mate. Sam took that as, we need to befriend him asap, and she insists we all try. So she followed him like a lost puppy, simply for my sake. Which is why she's my best friend."I don't know what my mom is gonna say. Or even my father. Fuck" i run my hand down my face, squeezing my eyes shut."They don't care either, the moon goddess picked your lovely mate for a reason. They will love him, and you" she reassures, and she's probably right. But how the fuck do i tell them? Oh hey mom, I found my mate. She's a boy? I groan, rolling over on my stomach. ' "You know we don't care, right?" N

Peyton Williams"So are you done giving innocent boy death stares?" Nolan asks, a smug smile on his lips. We're back at the pack house, after hanging out with Zeke and his friends. Nolan told me he asked Zeke about Cam, and there's nothing there. He seems so happy around him, and my wolf was egging me on, but I'm not stupid enough to do anything about it. "Yeah" i mumble, following Nolan to his room. I plop on his bed, and he turns on his TV."I think you made it on Ava's good side" he says, and i agree with that. Nicole was being bitchy, because she's jealous of Ava. She always has been, I'm not sure why, they're both beautiful girls."Have you talked to your dad about Zeke yet?" I ask, grabbing the Xbox controller from Nol."Yeah, he said he needs time to think about the best way, talk to some of our allies to see what they've done, since he's never had to deal with this before. He said he will be reaching out to you about it soon. No he doesn't care it's a guy, nor a human so don't

Peyton Williams"Do you think it was his dad?" Sam asks softly, flickering her eyes between Nolan and I. Zeke just left a half hour ago, we spent the day studying and ended up watching a movie before he had to go home."I don't know babe," Nolan mumbles, pulling her into his chest. Sam feels for people, and when she's close to someone, she gets really worked up over anything they have to go through. She feels like she's going through it too, and it honestly is what makes her such a great friend. She makes sure you're never alone, and doesn't make it about her. But right now she is definately hurting. She's taking a liking to Zeke, which is rare for her. She is only so close with Nol, Nicole, and I. She says it feels like her emotions get interconnected with ours. Zeke was definately off, he seemed sad. In pain, his eyes were glossy, and he was so antsy."Has Alpha said anything? My mom will let him stay here" she says, and she's serious. She'd take anyone in if it meant keeping them s

Peyton Williams"So it went well?" Nolan asks, as we make our way to the pack house. We just finished our Monday training. Now I gotta shower and get ready for school. Where I get to see my little blonde mate. Can't fucking wait."Yeah, we've been texting. We exchanged numbers yesterday. He hasn't texted me yet today "I say as we climb the back steps."It's also 6:30 in the morning" Nolan says "But I'm happy to hear you guys have been talking""Me too" I mumble as we head to the showers. I take a quick shower, then I get dressed in my usual jeans and t-shirt. I do wear a hoodie because it's chilly out. Breakfast is uneventful, thankfully and I'm pulling my jeep into the school parking lot in no time.Nolan and Sam pull up right after me, and I check my phone, seeing a text finally.Zeke: i can't believe u were up at 5amZeke: i got up 20 minutes agoPeyton: Are you at school?Zeke: You, u?I glance up from my phone, looking at the usual spot he stands at with his friends. I see Ava an
