RORY’S POVTodd and I walked in silence at first. He was still holding my hand in his as we walked down the quiet street. I had a lot of thoughts going through my mind but somehow I could not find a way to speak.As we walked, I stole a glance from Todd. He looked like he was deep in thoughts as well. Then just like he had sensed me looking at him, he turned to me.I quickly turned back feeling my cheeks heat up in shyness. I heard Todd sigh and then he stopped walking. Because he was holding my hand, I was forced to stop too. His eyes looked serious and kind of gloomy.“Are you alright?” I couldn’t help but ask when the silence was becoming too much for me.“Not really.” He said and then he led me to an empty roadside bench and we sat down. “We have never had this kind of problem before. You are usually the easiest person for me to talk to and now it feels like we are mountains apart.” Todd said as his finger traced the back of my hand.His words were true and they broke my heart.
