Aria returned to work after several days of recuperation at home. She strode to her desk in her stilettos after greeting some coworkers who were concerned enough to inquire about her health.As she sat down, she realized she had not seen Nicholas. Unlike before, he would be one of the first to greet her.She looked around and even stood to check his desk, but he was not present. Where could he possibly be? She asked herself as she turned on her computer to start working.Suddenly, she felt someone tap her from behind. “Yes?” Aria stopped and turned.“I actually got–” then he paused and said, “nevermind. You can leave.”After she left, Mr. Adrian entered the office. When he noticed the flowers still sitting on the table, he knew what had happened.“Why didn't you tell me she had a bouquet in hand?” Damien asked with a cold tone.“I actually wanted to tell you, but you dismissed me quickly.” the aide answered.Damien slammed his palm against the table.“Fuck!” he exclaimed, “that Nicholas of a guy is gradually making me lose my patience!”“Do you want to do anything to him?” Mr. Adrian asked.Damien quickly raised his hand, “Let him be. I haven't gotten enough reason to clear him out.”“Yes sir,” he said, then pointing to the flower, he quickly added, “what do you suggest I do to the flower?”Damien looked at it and said, “Take it away, give it to your wife or whoever you deem fit. I don't want to see it here.”“Yes, sir!” his aide replied as he exited with the bouquet and a smile.
