Carlos “They left no trace behind. We investigated the nearby Packs for suspects but CCTV footage shows no one left their territory after sunset” Ethan, our Beta shared.“The attacker must have left earlier in the day and stayed hidden in the woods, waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike. Normally cities outside our border are closed after sunset which makes it an advantage for the attacker” I state, leaning back further into the couch as I watch the CCTV footage play on Ethan's iPad.“Which will make it impossible for us to claim a suspect in those Packs” Ethan concludes.I nod, keeping the tablet aside on the table.“Those Packs outside are small and would never want to make us enemies. I wonder if someone was hired from there to specifically attack me and Bella”After Derek's departure from this Pack, we are the only heir left of The Dark Shadow. It is a matter of fact that some rivals would want us gone to ruin Marcel. The Packs outside our border are small, but prideful. Wh

SofiaNever in a million times had I thought of Carlos doing such a thing. For someone with a personality like his, it is impossible to believe he would beg a woman for sex. But here I am, the woman he wants so badly in his arms. When he stumbled into my room, looking like an absolute mess with tousled hair, a jacket and a belt hanging on his shoulder, I was sure he was drunk out of his limits but when he cupped my face, his breathing didn't hold that distinctive smell of the liquid drops he used once back when we were in my Pack.He did drink but it's not something that would intoxicate him. And to know that he is this desperate for me in his consciousness managed to tingle my heart, boost my confidence and ignite the fire of desire.Without giving another thought to it, I let my primary instincts take the lead and that's how I ended up on all fours, with his thick cock pounding inside me while his one hand clutched my waist, keeping me from moving away. I had never felt so full befo

We are all under lockdown while the high-ups investigate the scene. The air around us is thick with tension.“One nap and a murder happen. How much more unlucky do I have to be?” The guy who I have come to know as Steve mumbles to himself while constantly checking the time on his phone. Turns out he has a set of very strict parents.I get his worry. The door opens and a guard walks in. His gaze sweeps over each one of us like we were all criminals. He begins to question everyone separately.“I went to the Cafeteria with her. You can ask Miss Lily, she was there as well” The blonde girl answered, pointing at Maria.I frown, so she went to the Cafe while I took a nap? And didn't even bring anything.“Anyone else who went to the Cafe?” He asked, earning a ‘no’ from everyone.“You both will stay till the CCTV footage is checked,” He tells Maria and the other girl.Just then another man walks into the room, hair long & dark, eyes brown. And face, a mask of unreadable expression; radiating

“Do you realize what you are saying, Officer?” Marcel says in a low tone, appearing to be calm and collected.“I am just following orders. Any resistance with the cops will not result in your favor” Officer says, fetching out the handcuff. Valerie shields her husband, glaring at the man as her face flush with anger.“You are accusing Marcel DeLuca, CEO of DeLuca corporation, a known businessman and Mayor of The Dark Shadow Town. Think twice before claiming such nonsense!” She snaps.“It's not an accusation, Ma'am. We have a warrant against him and it doesn't matter who he is or how big of a business he owns. Bran, show her the papers” Officer exclaimed, eyeing his other two Officers who were still in some sort of argument with the guards.“And tell your security to not intervene or we'll have to take action,” the Officer says before handing the papers to Valerie. She reads it, and her features contort into worry.“What does it say?” Marcel asks.“It's an arrest warrant against you and

My eyes remain stuck in the hallway that leads to the OR, mom has taken a lot worse damage from the group of rogues that she was urgently taken to the OR. I have never been this impatient and anxious in my whole life.‘Goddess if you take her away from me then I will lose the last bit of trust and belief I have in you’As I wait, a nurse's voice wafts across the hallway. I turn to see Belle in her hospital gown, walking over to me while a nurse attempts to stop her.“How is mom now?” She asks with urgency. I gently shove her down on the chair, signaling the nurse to leave us be. She nods before walking away.“Still in the OR” I answer, crossing my arms against my chest.“How are your wounds?” I ask, although I can guess but I need to cut this suffocating silence that's threatening to give more space to the negative thoughts in my head.“They will heal with time” Tearing her gaze off the hallway, she looks back at me and then adds softly,“Sofia is fine…at least physically.
