ADELINA'S POV The cloud rumbled and started to pour wetting the soil. The air smelled like mud, and the pit-pat sounds of the rain echoed. I didn't know what came over me to stand in between Viktor and Vivianna; if I hadn't, blood might have poured today. I was tired of the bloodshed. "Please let's stop. We can just talk like adults." I repeated, my eyes pleading with Vivianna to let go. She sighed, then resigned to my pleading. "Fine, just a simple conversation." She replied. I smiled, grateful she was standing down. Someone grabbed my hand, making me snap my head in Viktor's direction. If looks could kill he would be dead now. "Let go of my hand," I barked at him, trying to pull my arm from his grasp, but his hold only tightened.
