Semua Bab PRISONER'S OF HIS DESIRE : Bab 71 - Bab 80

Bella's Pov. It was when the gate banged at our back that I realized I had been holding my breath. "That was close, Moana. "I can't believe those guards don't recognize me, even in a maid's clothes.""I drew all the attention to myself and didn't give them a chance to. Good thing I had once offered my service to one of them.""And which exact service are we talking about, Moana?""A portion to make him last longer in bed. Nothing extraordinary."Your knowledge of herbs and roots keeps coming to great use. To think you learned this during the dark moments of your life."Moana smiled, but then, smiling hardly left Moana's lips. Only on rare occasions, like what happened some moments ago, can Moana scowl or look angry. She is a real merry-go-round soul, if you are looking for one. "Most of our dark moments have a lesson to teach us, only if we are wise enough to see that most bad things happened for a good reason.:"Perhaps you are right," I muttered back, even though I did not see w

Bella's Pov. "Tell me why you ran away from Baron's fortress?" Damon asked as we stepped closer to the Greenwood pack's main gate. Since I have my own questions, I knew I had to wait until his curiosity was satisfied first. "I was accused of stealing a trinket and was locked up in a dungeon." Damon laughed dryly when I said this. "Who accused you, dearest Bella? Baron? He must be out of his mind. Didn't he know you were the heiress of Greenwich and had no need of a trinket when you have several expensive heirlooms at your disposal?""It wasn't Baron, but her daughter. And yes, he had no idea I was the Greenwich heiress."Damon stopped his stride, staring confusedly at me, "Then why did he take you as hostages when he had no idea you were related to me?" God in heaven! He didn't know that Baron was the man he kidnapped and chained to bed for me yet. I'd better let him know. "Well, it doesn't matter. You will be back to me immediately I got rid of Baron and his daughter.""How

Baron's Pov. "Isn't that Lady Bella?" Andrew asked as he galloped closer to me. Due to the dangerous terrain, horses were the only ideal type of movement, and I have them in larger quantities for my uses. "It can't be Bella. What on earth will she be-oh my goodness! It's Bella," I yelled, smacked my horse furiously, and galloped towards the silhouette far away. Andrew was right, it was Bella. Who else has those amazing curves and shapes? Seeing Bella alone outside our pack gate made my heart beat erratically. What is wrong, and why is she on her buttocks staring at us as if she is looking at ghosts?"I only left for a few hours, and all you have to do is escape from my fortress. You must so desire this baby so much that you are ready to risk abduction, hunger, and cold for it."Bella glared at me, sprang up from the cold floor, and used her palms to wipe dirt off her buttocks. "I'm not running away- well, I was, but not from you... Ah! Moana. You must save her.""What happened to

Bella's Pov. "You aren't going to fall sick, are you?" Baron asked immediately I pulled my heavy eyelids open. He was sitting at the edge of the bed, fully dressed in a white shirt and jeans, and smiling at me. I feel horrible, my body is on fire and my head pounds like hell, but I force myself to offer a smile. "Nah. I just feel tired and need to rest. How is Moana? Had she been found?""No, not yet. Alpha Andrew informed me Damon's army had moved into the Greenwich pack territory and was now out of reach, so I ordered them to turn back. ""You aren't leaving Moana there, are you?""No. Sending twenty-two people after the whole army was one stupid idea in the first place, but ordering them to enter into an enemy's territory is nothing but suicidal."An enemy's territory...God in heaven! Will Baron consider me an enemy when he knows who I am? Yesternight was the second time I had tried to reveal my real identity to him, and like before, he had cut me off, preventing me from my confe

Bella's Pov. For some days now, my body has been as hot as hell, my throat sore, making it impossible for me to eat, and I fear I will be vomiting my guts out, which was a surprise I didn't. Baron was always at my side whenever I opened my eyes, and I could see the concern on his face as he gazed down at me. He must be scared of losing his baby. Apart from Baron, a physician visited me three times a day, while Sarah fed and cleaned me up. However, today, my head felt better, and my stomach had been holding my breakfast for several hours without any sign of discomfort. Tired of being locked up inside the solar all these days, I decided to take a stroll around the fortress, and if possible, through the pack house. Baron had ordered them to bring more of my clothing from his store, and with the help of Sarah, I took a quick bath and dressed up in a white gown with beautiful blue lace at the hem. This gown was far beyond my knees before, but now it reveals my thighs. A reminder tha
