 Zella  "Oh God, oh God, oh God," Sasha screamed, scrambling away from Anthony's body.  Zella I lay in my bed, staring at Isaiah's contact on my phone screen. My finger hovered over the call button for the hundredth time that day. I pressed it. It rang, over and over... "You've reached Isaiah King. Leave a message." The sound of his recorded voice made my chest constrict painfully. I ended the call and immediately dialed again. "You've reached Isaiah King-" I hung up and called again. My hands were shaking so badly I could barely hold the phone. It had been a full day since my father had implied; well, no, not implied, practically announced it; that Isaiah was dead. It had been a full day of this nightmare, of calling his number over and over, waiting for him to answer, for him to tell me this was all some sick joke. But he never answered. Isaiah was dead. 

 Zella My sister whimpered in her sleep, her body jerking as she struggled through her nightmare. "No, no, I didn't mean to… no," "Shh," I whispered, stroking her hair. "It's okay. You're okay." But she wasn't okay. Neither of us was. It was daybreak, and I was a mess. I had till sunset to get twenty billion. The sound of laughter from the living room filled my ears, and I had no idea why it made me furious, but it did.  I carefully removed myself from Sasha's grip and tucked the covers around her before following the sound of voices to the kitchen. My father sat at the breakfast table with Delilah, both of them smiling, and across from them was Oliver, laughing at something Delilah had just said. Oliver, who clearly had no idea his father was supposedly dead or he wouldn't be laughing.  "How can you laugh?"
