I was never Human의 모든 챕터: 챕터 281 - 챕터 290

Kwen's POV:It's been about a good two days since I escaped, or at least 2 sunrises. I tend to rest during the day, and move quickly at night. I've taken to stopping in caves, or making little makeshift shelters along the way. Thank God it hasn't rained yet, otherwise I might've been in trouble. I haven't encountered anyone or anything dangerous yet. I count my blessings. I was on the move, blazing through trees, splashed over a small creek, hoofing it, just wanting to be home. I think I was getting close, or at least I hoped. I took over for Halo a little while back, and began to walk. It was in the middle of night. The moon was high, and the night's wind blew, making me shiver. 'Shiiittttt, it's cold.'I said, internally. Halo chuckled.'I'm fine, Kwen. I can take over if you want.''No. I appreciate you, and I love the fact that you're so fast, but you need rest, too. I can weather this for a bit.'She giggled.'Thank you.'I smiled. At that exact moment, the wind didn't want me

Nina's POV: Princess Ismelda and I have been on the hunt for Kwen for days. We've searched, non-stop, in hopes of finding clues before she and the king had to leave for the Supernatural Council. I was beyond worried. My need to find Kwen, and quickly, drove me to my limit each day. I know how politics work. If you aren't someone that can be controlled, then you are a person to get rid of. Kwen is exactly that for those people. Anyone that has come across her would be able to tell that the rules and regulations that all high status people flaunt and wear like a badge of honor, would mean nothing in front of her. Kwen as queen? She would shake the very core of our existence. If she's not there to defend herself, I know some would use that time to slander her. I refuse to allow that to happened. My family was way beyond displeased to learn of my joining the mission to help find Kwen. My mother and brother were quick to belittle me, while my father did what he does best: blackmail. Flas

Ava's POV:I had my scouts stake out and report what they saw at the Supernatural Council the moment it began. It's been so long since it commenced, that many of the other supernatural beings were thought to be figments of our imagination. On the earthly plane, we have Wolves, Vampires, Witches, and now the resurgence of Warlocks. There is a magical aspect to supernaturals, where fairies and elves exist. There are a few more beings, but they have long stopped existing in the world for centuries, so they no longer hold seats on the council. Technically, humans should have a seat on the council, as well. There are a few that are closely connected to the spiritual realm, where they can see ghost or spirits. They could even interact with them. It is said that the children of humans are even able to see the spiritual realm as babies because they are more closely linked with the spiritual nature of our world. Whereas us, supernatural beings, are closely linked with magic and the magical rea

Heather's POV:Flashback continued...Swiftly, the young woman was taken to the pack's medical center. Yanell and I followed. We sat outside as the doctor and his team worked on the woman. Yanell paced the floors, twisting her bottom lip between her teeth and her fingers. I kept my watchful gaze on her, not too sure what to make of this whole situation."Say what you wanna say. Burning holes into my skin won't give you the answers you want."Yanell said, abruptly. She stopped her pacing, staring at me. My eyes never left hers."She's your sister."I stated."Yes."She replied."Your twin sister."Yanell went silent for a beat. Was the fact she had a twin known, or was it something to be hidden."Who are you? You're not just the Chosen's Librarian, are you?""I never said I was. That is my title, but even you said I held more power than I let on."I responded. She took a step closer to me, arms folded."Then what are you?""I am a Chosen. However, I am very old. I've been given a gift

Brandon's POV: After hearing that the Supernatural Council has come together once more, between decades of not convening, worried me. We still hadn't found my daughter as of yet. Even still, I had to leave her behind in order to protect her. I wasn't called on, but I'd be damn if they have any kind of discussions about my daughter without me being there. So here I was. I sat among the many. The Supernatural Council is a few years younger than the Council of Wolves, but it's more important. Boundaries, laws, and judgments that pertain to all, and not just a specific group, are made her for the betterment and peace between species. The council is held within the human world, but in a vastly secluded area. The building was placed here to keep all supernatural beings honest, allowing no one to have an upper hand during meetings. The building itself was an old 18th century cathedral-esque design. Gothic, tall, pointed roofs. Large, stained glass windows. Elaborate paintings covered the
