I was never Human のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 261 - チャプター 270

Trackers POV: "Is everything set?" "Yeah. They wanted us to wait till it was closer to 11pm, but we'll just go with the best opening." I shook my head. "They said the shifts changes at 10:50pm, so 11 is our best bet, or maybe a little after." My partner nodded. I recieved a text from my alpha. Message: Alpha: My men are about 30 mins out. They will be on foot in 15. At that point, you get your future Luna or don't bother returning. Me: Yes, alpha. End of messages. I showed my partner what was said, and he nodded. Suddenly, the doors to our cell were opened. We walked out into the circle that they had us hung from, watching Lucius walk towards us. His arms were folded behind his arms, and he held a cool smile on his face. "Everything is ready on our in. It is almost time. Are your people here?" Lucius asked. "Almost.""Almost needs to be now." He replied, sighing. "Do you know where you're going?" My partner and I nodded. "There's a hidden tunnel through the double doo

Kwen's POV:I kept a close eye on Nina and her sketchy family. I sat at a corner table, shoes off, sipping on a wine. These people ain't serve not a lick of food, and your girl was hungry. All that socializing had my stomach touching my back. Everyone else was out and about. I watched Miza and Steph dance. They were sooooo cute together. Miza wore her red and black hair up in a messy bun of sorts, curling the hair around the perimeter of her head. Her dress was gorgeous. It was a deep burgundy silk slip, covered with all black lace. I knew she was a curvy little thing, but baby girl had a set of hips on her, and Steph had a hold of them. I chuckled, smiling at them. Kera and Elijah look majestic together. He towered over damn near everyone. Kera is a tall, curvy woman who was a little more slender than the rest of us, other than Isabell. My girl wore a sliver silk dress like the vampire princess, except hers was short, about mid thigh. The dress had long winged sleeves with a plunge n

Cersai's POV:I kept a trained eye on Kwen the whole night. She gave me subtle glances, touches, and head nods to keep me and Reign at bay, but it was hard. Man after man wanted a dance with my mate. I was finally able to relax when she decided she had enough and took a seat. I was pulled in many directions, each one was away from where I wanted to be.I wanted to be with Kwen.I saw when her aunt joined her. They seem to really enjoy each other's company. I was talking to a few of the heads of house of the last of the pure blood vampires. I have no qualms with vampires, I just couldn't careless about what they were discussing."Ah, Prince Cersai. It's a pleasure to finally meet you in person."One man said. A few years back, Vampire history was added to the curriculum of all high society. We needed to learn about our new found allies?? I understood that there hadn't been any new wars between us, and the new Vampire King was actually a good guy, but I knew better. Not everyone wanted

Heather's POV:Flashback: a few weeks ago...When I first arrived at the Library of Alphas, I was astonished by the vast and many books. Our history was long and prosperous, though it wasn't without its wars. From what I've read, we have been plagued by greed and superiority complexs that spands generations. As much as I simply wanted to enjoy the wealth of centuries of past lives that came before me, it was only one life I was in search for. I scoured the entire library, looking for the earliest accounts. Considering Cimone was around the time the first King of our people was throned, I'm sure there wouldn't really be any knowledge before that time, if any, very limited. In the Chosen's library, the way in which we organize our books is from oldest to you youngest. The very old at the top and furthest back in our shelves. I hoped it would be the same here, and thankfully, it was. This library, like our own, was dimly lit and controlled temp, to protect the archives that laid here. I

Brandon's POV: I roared out in anger, my wrath rippling, tangible. Flashes of the dance I just had with my daughter appeared in my head. Her smile. Her earnest eyes. It all flickered through my mind as I relived the earth shattering words that fell from Princess Ismelda's lips. I felt cold fury slither up my spine as I thought of the unconscious body of Mia. I've always loved her like a sister. She is my last link to Minnie from when we were together. The thought of losing her felt almost similar to having heard of Minnie's death. Axel raged within, my eyes constantly shifting from my brown to his burnt orange. I growled non stop. My mind drifted back to when Kwen was taken before, and the state she was in. She was taken and slipped through my fingers. I was so close, and yet, she was gone. And agin, I stood a few feet from her, unaware of what was happening to my daughter, and now no one has any clue of where to find her. I roared out, slamming a fist through a table and rising to my
