RAPHAEL'S POV I went to the back of the room and disappeared into the ante-chamber which was the place I had been sleeping in ever since Thorne's illness started. It wasn't much of a room if I must say and lacked some of the trappings which even the poor would adorn their rooms with. All it had was a bed space, a window and four walls, let's just say it didn't have the bed before I started sleeping in it. With a sigh, I crawled into bed preparing to get some rest when a knock suddenly came out of nowhere. It was soft but I heard it clear enough in the middle of the night, also I spent another second wondering if it came from the main room or from outside. I sat up straight and listened again, the knick came again with Peter's voice following it. "Raphael, are you there?" He asked. "Yes." I stood up and walked towards the door. "What do you want?" I asked opening it. "Sorry to disturb you so late but i was just too busy to come early." He apologize

RAPHAEL'S POV The floor felt cold against my skin as I came back into consciousness, opening my eyes, I saw Peter standing over me, hands akimbo. "What happened here?" He asked me. I let out a slight yawn and let my face fall back to the ground heavily. "I don't know." I groaned. To be honest, I could hardly remember exactly how things had gone south. Though, I knew we had an argument and somehow I found myself at the receiving end. Peter let out a pent up sigh and bent down in front of me, Picking up a piece of the shattered vase. "This cost a lot of money." He said shoving it in my face. "How did you break it?" He asked. "You can ask Tank for the details, also ask him if you need the payment back." I replied. I could believe Tank had done what he did, even without being under Thorne's command. "Where's Thorne?" Oh yeah, I knew he would ask that sooner or later. He would definitely notice the bed and how it remained unoccupied.

DUNCAN'S POV "So… what was the outcome of the visit to that sneaky little snake of yours?" That was the very first question Sophia asked me when I woke up this morning. "It's none of your business." I retorted. "And do not call her that." I added. "Why shouldn't I?" She walked along the bedside towards, "After all, she doesn't seem to be capable of letting go of you even after five years, what could she possibly want?" The woman went on. I ignored her and turned away to the other side. "You should make it known to her that you're married." "She knows that." I replied and just as soon, I blamed myself for replying her. "Happily married." Sophia went on. Nah, I really doubt that, the last time I had felt happy, sincerely happy in this marriage was when we had our third year anniversary, yet even then, the happiness hadn't felt wholesome. "Maybe then she would stop chasing you." "She isn't chasing me Sop

DUNCAN'S POV Sophia Burt's into laughter immediately causing me to frown, there was no chance in hell that any of what I had said was funny. At least to me, it wasn't. "Wait, are you joking?" She stumbled forward. "I don't know, do I look like I am?" I queried. Contrary to what I expected, she didn't give me a response. "I think it's high time we dissolved this marriage." I sat up and got off my bed standing up to her. Yeah, that felt better, lying in bed still reminded me of how weak I had felt when I was ill. Those weren't good times and it somehow still haunted me. "It's evident that we both aren't in love with each other anymore. You can't stand me and it's pretty much the same thing for me as well." "And you suddenly think the logical thing is to divorce me, Duncan?" She asked me. "You don't look into the pack affairs as a Luna should." I went on ignoring her question. "And most of all I doubt you even care for our daughter."

THORNE'S POV "I really missed you." I whispered against her soft skin as I pulled away. I took in her scent with every breath that I took. It had been a really long time since I had breathed her but still the memories came rushing like it was only yesterday. Lyra smiled at me and replied, "Not as much as I did." I lifted an eyebrow at her, "do you want to bet that?" "No." She shook her head then squirmed free off my arms. "But it's obvious who was conscious and who wasn't during the time you were away. I had to bare the pain and live with it all by myself. And for a while I thought I wasn't ever going to see you again." "I had lost all hope." She whispered. "But here you are and I feel so stupid." I didn't miss the way she clenched her fists together when she said that. It was only but a slight movement but my curious gaze had been able to catch them. "What do you mean?" I gave her a confused look. Lyra's eyes darted towards me. "I s
