-SIENNA-In the first game of the season, the Rangers played unbalanced. Passes were missed, sometimes because the players were either too slow or too fast to intercept them. And the puck kept coming back to the other team’s sticks.Somehow, we managed to win. Maybe because Hank scored 3 points, but most likely because Matt barricaded the goal in a way that not even air passed through.By the end of the game, the guys were eager to celebrate the victory. Hank was one of the first players to get out, and he came rushing Michelle and me to go to O’Malleys.O’Malleys was an Irish pub located within walking distance of the arena, which makes it a good place to chill after a game. It was a kind of sports bar, with a cool vibe and a large beer selection. The place was big, with a bar at the entrance, an area with tables, billiards and darts at the back, and the band stage downstairs. Upstairs, it has a more reserved area where the players like to stay.We got ourselves a quiet corner table

-SIENNA- Matt’s gaze landed on my lips as he moved closer. His head dipped down, his hooded eyes filled with lust. Slowly—too slowly—as if he were giving me a chance to move away. But how could I move away when my body ached to be touched by him? My hands slid away from his chest, and I circled my arms around his neck. I stood on my tiptoes because he was at least a foot taller than me. That was uncommon for me since I was 5 foot 9. He finally closed the small distance between our lips and kissed me tenderly. His lips were surprisingly soft, and they felt perfect against mine. A jolt of electricity streaked through my spine, and I never wanted that feeling to end. My hands caressed the back of his neck, my fingers combing through his silky dark hair. The background faded around us. The only sound I heard was my heartbeat roaring in my ears. His woodsy, masculine scent surrounded me, making me lightheaded. I didn’t remember where we were anymore, and I honestly di

-MATT-It was Saturday afternoon, and I was heading home to drop my sports gear before going out. As soon as I approached the door, I heard the smoke detector ringing. I opened the front door in a hurry, just in time to find the apartment full of thin fog. Back in the kitchen, Sienna was standing on top of the counter, continuously pressing the button to stop the noise.“Shut up, you stupid thing!” she yelled at the smoke detector and didn’t even notice that I had come in.Trying to avoid scaring her, I approached carefully."Sienna! You have to open the windows first," I shouted above the alarm. She stumbled, startled by my voice despite my efforts to prevent it, and I jumped to catch her before she fell. She landed on top of me as I hit my ass on the floor. I could smell her lychee and bergamot scent, even though the apartment reeked of burnt meat. She always smelled amazing.“Matt? What the hell?” she said, jumping off me, and I already missed having her body close to me.I quickly

-SIENNA- "Thanks again for everything, Matt. You were a lifesaver," I said as I finished loading the dishwasher. "I have something for you," he said, handing me a gift bag as I turned to face him. "Oh no! I love getting presents, but this is too much!" I felt embarrassed as I took the bag from his hands. Inside, I found a Rangers jersey with Matt’s number on it. "It’s for the next time you come to watch one of our games. That way, you can cheer properly. But you don’t have to wear it if you don’t want to," he blushed a little as he said that, and it was adorable. "I’ll wear it, for sure." I folded the shirt and placed it on the kitchen stool. When I tried to throw the bag into the trash bin, he stopped me. "Wait, there’s something else inside," he informed me. I checked the bag and found an envelope. "A greeting card?" "No, it’s a subscription for dinner meals. It’s from the same company that brought the package today. They’ll bring a new package once a

-SIENNA- Matt stayed by my side the whole night. At some point, when I was cold, he covered me with a duvet. I thought that he'd leave afterward, but he came back to lie beside me. The fact that he slept next to me helped me a lot to ease the pain. Maybe because his body runs one hundred degrees and I didn't need my hot water bottle anymore. Or, probably, because he was so attentive and caring like no other guy I'd met before. When I woke up in the morning, his side of the bed was cold and empty. I was already missing him when he came back with another cup of ginger tea and toast. "How are you feeling?" he asked me as he handed me the cup. "I've brought some toast, but it's plain. I didn't know what to do, so I avoided butter and jam. And I ran out of maple syrup." "I´m much better. Thanks for taking care of me yesterday. It was very sweet of you". I blush and take a sip of my tea to hide my face. "You don't have to babysit me anymore. I'm sure you have your secret Sunday ap
